HUGE NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UP APRIL 26 TH ! Nearly 10,000 volunteers from more than 50 neighborhood organizations will participate in the kick-off of The Great Indy Cleanup. The annual program of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful in partnership with the city of Indianapolis, Department of Public Works and South Side Landfill aims to spruce up streets, walkways and alleys by removing litter and illegal dumping accumulated over the winter. Department of Public Works crews will supply trash trucks and Dumpsters. Gloves, garbage bags, and donated Coca-Cola products will be provided by KIB. Trash disposal is donated by South Side Landfill. By volunteering, residents signal to would-be vandals that they care about their neighborhoods and won't tolerate crime, litter or illegal dumping.
To join the clean-up, meet in the Clifford’s Corner lot across from School 54 on 10th Street at 9:00am. On April 26th we will clean up Rural to Tuxedo. The Tuxedo to Sherman cleanup will be on May 17. Please Join Us!!! Everyone is welcome! Meet your officers: Chip Gibson - President, N. Kealing St.

NOISE ordinances… Occasionally, everyone makes noise. And, noise annoys people from time to time. As a reminder, the city unlawful noise code Sec. 391-302 applies to unreasonable noises that continue after being asked to stop. Loud music that can be heard off the property after 10 pm is not allowed. Violations can result in a $50.00 ticket. BNA encourages you to talk to your neighbors about noises before calling the police! I’ve been remembering a time playing around the front porch, in the grass, at my Grandparents house.
