Happy Birthday to Parker Caswell and Alyssa Floyd!!! An important reminder about parking at school. Juniors are to park in the lower parking lot and seniors in the upper senior lot. No student should park in the courtyard lot. This is reserved for staff, visitors and handicapped tagged cars only. . Until the snow is removed, please do not park in front of the piles of snow. There is sufficient parking elsewhere. Thanks for your cooperation. Every two seconds someone in America needs blood, including patients with diseases, accident and burn victims, people needing surgeries and more. Hospitals need about 44,000 units of blood each day to meet patient needs. By donating blood you help to insure that the Red Cross has it when it is needed most. To give blood you must be in general good health. Males: 16 years old must have parent consent, 17 or older you must be 5' and weigh at least 110 pounds. Females: 16 years old must have parent consent. 17 or older is okay. (5' tall must weigh 138 lbs., 5'5" or taller must weigh at least 110 pounds). Please sign up to give blood during the National Honor Society Red Cross Blood Drive which will be held in the afternoon of March 22nd here at the ILHS. Special thanks to everyone - administration, staff and students for your positive attitudes during Winter Carnival week! The final results for the whole Winter Carnival week were: Tied for 3rd place were the freshmen and sophomores; second place were the juniors. First place were the seniors. Thanks everyone! Do you need a job for the summer? The Job Board is located outside Nurse Penny's office. Many jobs are available from banking, customer service, farm work and hospitality. Some jobs are seasonal but some are permanent with full time and part time are available. Application forms are on the table by the board. If you need assistance completing them please see Mrs. Duffield. The Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 29th in the gym at 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. Earn some money and meet new friends and get a job! If you are planning on participating in a spring sport this year, please check the list outside of the Health Office which will indicate the status of your medical physical. Please do this promptly as appointments for doctor’s physicals are sometimes difficult to book and you may not participate in practices if your physical is not up to date.

Please do not put liquids or trash in the recycling bins. Empty the bottles or cans before placing in bins. These have to be sorted by hand.
