With referenceto Board'sletterdated22105l2015, prescribingminimum educationalqualificationfor open marketrecruitmentto various postsin Medical Departmenton Indian Railways,the NFIR vide its letter dated 1710812015 brought to the notice of the Railway Board, lhe contents of O.M. No. F.No.A28020111/2008-PMS(Part I) dated 17'nJuly 2015 whereinthe nodal ministry (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare) had issued instructionsrevising the designationand the Pay Structureof Lab Staff to enablethe Railway Ministry to adopt the sameas the categoriesare common.It is however noticed that althoughover 8 monthshave passed,neither designation& Pay Structureof Lab Staff have been revised nor there has been anyresponsefrom Railway Boardto Federation's proposal. NFIR requeststhe Railway Board (MS) to kindly see that the revisedpay structureand the cadre hierarchyas decidedby the Ministry of Healthand Family Welfarein respectof LaboratoryStaff of Medical Departmentis adoptedin the case of LaboratoryStaff of Medical Departmenton Indian Railways and instructionsissuedaccordinglygiving effectfrom 1710712015, duly endorsingcopyto the Federation.
