NEW WAYS TO IMPROVE EFFICIENCY The FP7 funded project E4Water addresses crucial process industry needs to overcome bottlenecks and barriers for an integrated and energy-efficient water management. The main objective is to develop, test and validate new integrated approaches for a more efficient and sustainable management of water in the chemical industry, with cross-fertilization possibilities to other industrial sectors. The six study cases included in the project are designed to ensure and demonstrate the relevance of the E4Water approach to the chemical industry, a highly divers sector with complex value chains.
