A 2,700 sq foot lounge offers a casual meeting and social space during the day, comfortably designed to facilitate conversation amongst neighbors. In the evening the space hosts carefully created programming, providing a stimulating outlet for the community. You’re a blue sky dreamer, and are excited to help shape something out of nothing. Roles and Responsibilities: The Head Collaborator is a full time position reporting to the Director. The Head Collaborator will be on site as a friendly concierge, an intellectual resource, a conversational partner, and the representation of the brand. As a “members first” space, the Head Collaborator will prioritize hospitality and problem solving. The Head Collaborator will assist in producing memberled events, as well as assist the Director in programming / partnership initiatives. S/he will act as lead facilitator in the space, connecting members in an effort to strengthen the fabric of our community. Specifically, the Head Collaborator will: act as point of contact for all member inquiries cultivate member experience through rituals, programs and evaluations determine and develop member engagement touchpoints connect members to opportunities and resources in and outside the space actively drive Membership growth maintain a participatory voice both on and offline stimulate and support memberled initiatives work with Events Manager to ensure public events are relevant to brand / mission work with the Director to identify strategic partnership opportunities manage member POS orders with our partner restaurant maintain a hospitable and functional lounge space
Key Qualifications: 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in community management, civic organization, or hospitality Proven track record of project management and can multitask like a pro Comfortable and experienced in sales A New York City aficionado; equal parts culture and local business resource Knowledgeable about food (professional background with food even better!) Confidence in groups and a strong sense of self People + Process oriented, thrives on designing systems and workflows that follow humancentric design Genuinely curious about the art of relationships, and passionate about making connections Selfmotivated with an eagerness to tackle challenges Excellent written and verbal communication skills Super organized (with a willingness to share best practices!)
