See Guidelines for supervisors and students at http://cca.edu/students/careers/ internships. NOTE: Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 states that, “No person in the United States shall on the basis of sex be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.” Internships constitute an educational program covered under Title IX, and so CCA will share additional information soon about its obligations related to any student reports of discrimination, harassment or sexual misconduct experienced at internship sites.
