The age of the home is not a factor in rating a policy - so pre-firm or post-firm does not matter Only a 7 day waiting period (not 30 days). No wait if buying with a mortgage. No elevation certificate is req uired Accepted by 99.9% of all lenders A client can cancel their current policy and change to this policy at any time (if it make sense for them to do so)

The Private Flood Prog ram IS available for: Single Family Dwelling and 2 to 4 Unit Residential Buildings located in Florida

The Private Flood Program IS NOT available for: Properties that have experienced a prior flood loss within the last five years, mobile homes, condomi nium units , commercial properties, or a property that has been designated by a duly constituted State or local authority to be in violation of State or local floodplain management regulations (Section 1316). Properties located in CBRA area, NFIP non -participating communities , a community under NFIP probation , or the Emergency Program. Keep in mind that if you have an elevation certificate and the home is at or above the base flood elevation they will probably be better off going with the standard NFIP policy.
