Crops must be brought to the Crop Tent from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Wednesday of Fair Week. Crops will be judged on Friday of Fair Week starting at 9:00 am. Member may enter only one exhibit under any class number. DIVISION A: FIELD CROPS, CORN & SUNFLOWERS Exhibit 5 stalks; roots attached, wrap roots in plastic and cover with burlap bag to prevent drying. Class Number 1. Field corn, label variety 2. Sweet corn, label variety 3. Popcorn, label variety 4. Ornamental corn, label variety 5. Sunflowers-oilseed, 5 stalks with heads 6. Sunflowers-black striped, 5 stalks with heads 7. Ear corn – 5 ears 8. Dry shell corn – 4-5 quart ice cream pail 9. Barley – 4-5 quart ice cream pail 10. Flax - 4-5 quart ice cream pail 11. Lentil beans-any variety - 4-5 quart ice cream pail 12. Lupine beans-any variety - 4-5 quart ice cream pail 13. Oats, well cleaned - 4-5 quart ice cream pail 14. Rye - 4-5 quart ice cream pail 15. Soybeans - 4-5 quart ice cream pail 16. The Fair Association will furnish a box of proper size for display. Boxes to be judged on quality of vegetables, cleanliness, how well displayed in box and attractiveness of display. MUST USE BOXES PROVIDED. 4-H’ers are encouraged to use their creativity within the display box. CLASS #1 OPEN TO FIRST YEAR GARDEN EXHIBITORS ONLY
