Griffith University offers a pathway into engineering through the Aptitude for Engineering Assessment (AEA) exam. The AEA is a two-and-a-half-hour multiple choice test that assesses a candidate’s aptitude to think scientifically, solve quantitative problems, critically analyse information and display interpersonal understanding. This pathway is available to both school leavers and non-school leavers who may be not meet the subject prerequisite or program cut-off for Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). Students who successfully pass their exam will receive an admission offer into the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at either the Brisbane (Nathan) or Gold Coast campus. They will also be able to attend a Math B bridging course free of charge.
