Rules of the Trail:
With the exception of the two-way trail #6, 1. Ski the trail loops in a counter clockwise direction. All trails are ONE WAY indicated by directional arrow markers. For Safety sake, don’t go against the skiing traffic. 2. Trail #6 is a two-way snowshoe and winter hiking trail with a segment from Evergreen Park to Maywood also designated as a groomed ski trail. Snow-shoers and winter hikers should use the south side (riverside) of the trail. The ski trail will be groomed on the north side of the trail.

3. The ski trails are groomed for skiing, not walking. If for some reason you have to walk, such as a broken ski, please walk to the outside of the groomed path. Do not walk in the tracks or on the skating lane. 4. Walkers and snowshoers are asked to use the 5+ miles of trails designated for that purpose (see trail map). 5. Faster skiers need to be considerate of slower skiers. Faster skiers should ski around skiers by indicating “stay where you are, I am on your left or I am on your right” 6. City ordinance prohibits dogs in the parks, including the trails. They don’t ski well anyway. 7. Be careful on downhills. Keep a close watch ahead for fallen skiers. 8. Read and heed trail signs. By doing this, you will avoid potential accidents and do less damage to your equipment and the trails. 9. Use areas other than the ski trails for sledding and snowboarding. 10. Please don’t litter 11. Use courtesy, common sense and enjoy the trails!
Fight Trail Vandalism If you witness any vandalism in the parks, to the trail signs or park in general, please help us by reporting it to the Sheboygan Police Department, 459-3333, with descriptions of the offenders. Recreational snowmobiles are not allowed on the Sheboygan Jaycee Trails or in the City parks. Record registration numbers of violators and report to the Sheboygan Police Department, 459-3333
