This will be achieved through a survey procedure, followed by break-out groups who will present the main challenges of using the internet and the greatest successes/impact to business.

Eric Brown – Executive Director, California Telehealth Network Eric will discuss the methods by which California Telehealth Network is rolling out broadband and broadband services through healthcare facilities. He will focus on the development of better service and enhanced healthcare in Kern River Valley as a result of the partnership between California Telehealth Network and Kern Valley Hospital District. Timothy McGlew – CEO, Kern Valley Healthcare District Tim is a dedicated member and leader in the Kern Valley community. As CEO of the Kern Valley Healthcare District, he has been a powerful advocate for the expansion of health services for Kern Valley residence through the utilization of broadband resources, which would have a dramatic impact on the level of care available. Tim has worked diligently with California Telehealth Networks, numerous providers, and community organizations to secure broadband service that would offer increased healthcare options for patients.

Christie Osborne = Director of Interactive Marketing, Mammoth Lakes Tourism Christie “eat, sleeps, breaths, and dreams” all things social media. Her interactive marketing philosophy has been met with tremendous success in Mammoth Lakes, with robust engagement of her posts and tweets as well as notable turnout in events and activities. Christie recently became an official consultant for the CSUB Small Business Development Center, making her vast knowledge and incredible expertise available to us all. Christie has developed an interactive program to demonstrate the effectiveness of social media marketing and the critical role it plays in our modern market.
