C O A C H ’S That was one of the most difficult losses that I have had as a head coach. Statistically we O dominated them. We had 294 yards of offense to their 174. We doubled up on first downs R and time of possession. However, we are not about moral victories. We are about winning we didn't get the job done and we are going to look at every aspect of our team and get N and better. E Xenia is our next opponent and they are very similar to every Xenia team that we have faced three years. They are fast and athletic and very aggressive. On offense they R have atheverylastgood tail back and a good QB. They want to run the ball and get the QB outside on bootlegs and allow him to use his athletic talent. On defense they run a 4-3 and they are aggressive. On offense it is all about us. We make too many mistakes and we have to eliminate those mistakes if we want to win. The players and coaches are hungry to get back on the field and to right the ship. Go Lancers! Coach Grippa

Booster Banter This email has an updated order form attached for La Salle SpiritWear. This will be the FINAL and ONLY opportunity to order football SpiritWear. (This is the new design for this year.) The final deadline has been extended to September 10th (Sunday); the order must be called in Monday. Orders can be turned in to Diane Bedinghaus at the game on Friday or at the very latest, called in (74l -1O 13) by Sunday evening.

The remaining team dinners will be held in the cafeteria on the following Thursday evenings at 5:00 PM: 9/21 - 10/5 - 10/12 - 10/19 Any Varsity player who is not able to attend a dinner must call Becky Betsch at 598-l464 by Wednesday of the week of the dinner. o
