August​ ​3,​ ​2017:​ ​ ​Leaders​ ​Meet​ ​To​ ​Discuss​ ​Recovery​ ​Service​ ​Options​ ​for​ ​Raymond​ ​NH The​ ​current​ ​substance​ ​misuse​ ​issues​ ​that​ ​are​ ​facing​ ​many​ ​communities​ ​in​ ​the​ ​State​ ​of​ ​NH​ ​continue to​ ​be​ ​a​ ​concern.

Members​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Raymond​ ​Coalition​ ​For​ ​Youth​ ​(RCFY)​ ​Heroin​ ​Drug​ ​Task​ ​force,​ ​Board​ ​of​ ​Directors and​ ​staff​ ​met​ ​with​​ ​Granite​ ​Pathways​​ ​(which​ ​includes​​ ​Regional​ ​Access​ ​Points​ ​of​ ​Service​ ​-​ ​RAPS​​ ​-

and​​ ​Safe​ ​Harbor​ ​Recovery​ ​Center​)​ ​in​ ​Portsmouth​ ​to​ ​discuss​ ​the​ ​possibility​ ​of​ ​bringing​ ​much-needed recovery​ ​option​ ​services​ ​to​ ​the​ ​community.

Granite​ ​Pathways​ ​supports​ ​individuals​ ​with​ ​mental​ ​illness​ ​and​ ​addiction​ ​in​ ​building​ ​personal​ ​equity and​ ​achieving​ ​their​ ​life​ ​goals​ ​as​ ​valued​ ​members​ ​of​ ​their​ ​community.

Substance​ ​misuse​ ​not​ ​only​ ​affects​ ​the​ ​person​ ​who​ ​is​ ​struggling,​ ​but​ ​also​ ​their​ ​loved​ ​ones,​ ​parents, children,​ ​employees​ ​and​ ​the​ ​community​ ​at​ ​large.​ ​ ​Addiction​ ​is​ ​a​ ​disease​ ​that​ ​does​ ​not​ ​discriminate and​ ​has​ ​a​ ​profound​ ​impact​ ​on​ ​all​ ​ages,​ ​children​ ​included.​ ​ ​Providing​ ​resources​ ​to​ ​help​ ​the community​ ​benefits​ ​everyone.
