Literacy Specialists are essential instructional leaders in all learning communities. The CESA 1 Literacy Leader Network is a professional learning community with a mission to discuss, collaborate, and support one another as we deepen our understanding of high impact instructional practices, and deliver relevant staff development for our teachers. (Topics and issues related to district and state literacy needs will be established and explored by members) The goal of this group is to reflect, stretch and respond to the reading, writing, listening, speaking and viewing needs of our region’s teachers through staff development and collaborative coaching.
