Phrathepyanmahamuni (Luang Por Dhammajayo), the Abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Klong Sam Tambon, Klong Luang Amphoe, Patumthani Province, Thailand Phrathepyanmahamuni was born Chaiyaboon Suttipon on Saturday, April 22, 2487 B.E. He entered the monkhood on Wednesday, August 27, 2512 B.E. As of 2558 B.E., he has now been in the monkhood for a total of 47 years. As soon as Phrathepyanmahamuni entered the monkhood, he immediately set out to work at reviving Buddhism. His goal was to spread Buddhism and Vijja Dhammakaya worldwide. He wanted the entire world to know that outer peace had to begin with inner peace. Consequently, he has all throughout the years worked together with other Buddhist organizations for the cause of Buddhism and the results are more than 100 programs implemented domestically and internationally.
