Descripción: El objetivo del taller es demostrar cómo usar el análisis de comportamiento aplicado (ABA) para promover el desarrollo y uso del lenguaje. Este taller abordará temas tales como: cómo maximizar las oportunidades para el desarrollo del lenguaje en el entorno natural, las variables motivacionales implicadas en ser un hablante competente, la importancia del mando (solicitando), la descomposición del lenguaje en componentes educables, las estrategias para pasar de la producción no vocal a la vocal, cómo dirigirse a las dificultades de articulación, y la evaluación y recolección de datos. La asistencia previa a una presentación de los ABCs de ABA es recomendada. Estaremos haciendo referencia a las habilidades aprendidas en el taller de los ABCs y no pasaremos mucho tiempo enseñándolas. Lección, video, y folletos pueden ser usados. ¡El espacio es limitado, así que regístrese temprano! Almuerzo de caja será proporcionando, pero no hay cuidado de niños disponible. Description: The goal of the workshop is to demonstrate how to use applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote language development and use. This workshop will cover topics such as: how to maximize opportunities for language development in the natural environment, the motivational variables involved with being a proficient speaker, the importance of the mand (requesting), the breakdown of language into teachable components, strategies to move from non-vocal to vocal production, how to address articulation difficulties, and assessment and data collection. Previous attendance at an ABC’s of ABA workshop is strongly encouraged, as we will be referencing the skills learned in this presentation and not spending much time teaching them. Lecture, video, and handouts may be used. Space is limited so register early! Box lunch provided but no child care available. .
