Piece 4 Instructions Take 2 pieces of 4 ½ x 18 ½ inch fabric in the lightest Castle colour. On the reverse side draw a line with chalk or water soluble pen ¼ inch from the raw edge. You will need 1 with the line on the left and 1 with the line on the right.

Measure 4 inches up from the ¼ inch line and make a mark. Measure 2 inches across from the ¼ inch vertical line and make a mark Join the 2 lines

Now take a scrap piece of the medium colour castle fabric. I used a piece about 4 ½ x 5 ½ inches but you could use something smaller but it is more fiddly. This is the most effective method of not stretching when sewing along the bias. Pin as shown then sew along the chalk line.
