MMA Political Action Committee Endorses Tom King in Transportation Commissioner Race JACKSON, Miss. (Oct. 25, 2011) — The Mississippi Manufacturers Association Political Action Committee announced today that it has endorsed Tom King for Southern District Transportation Commissioner in the Nov. 8 general election. According to MMA President and CEO Jay C. Moon, CEcD, FM, the committee endorsed King because of his commitment to support business and industry. “Manufacturing is the foundation of our economy,” said Moon, “and the MMA PAC exists to provide support for those candidates who will work to create jobs and keep manufacturing strong and competitive in Mississippi. The MMA PAC believes Tom King will be an advocate for manufacturers and business in general, enabling Mississippi to continue to compete in the global marketplace.” __________________________________________

This year marks 60 years that the Mississippi Manufacturers Association has served as Mississippi’s Voice of Industry, representing the interests of Mississippi’s manufacturers at both the state and national levels.
