MONICA CIOBANU Dr. Monica CIOBANU is Associate Professor at Plattsburgh State University of New York. Dr. Ciobanu’s research is focused on issues of democratization, memory, truth and justice in post-communism. She is the author of ten articles in peer-reviewed journals including Europe-Asia Studies, Comparative Sociology, International Journal of Politics, Culture and Society, Nationalities Papers and Problems of Post-Communism.
