Once I completed my studies, I had the opportunity to jump straight into the deep end of digital advertising. I began in the Digital Studio, where most projects include webpages and email newsletters for Xbox 360 and Nike. As I was promoted to Midweight and then Senior Designer, I was given more opportunities to work on a wider range of clients and larger scale of projects for Xbox 360, Nike, Unilever, Nigella Lawson, Nokia, Volkswagen and McLaren. As well as developing my web layout and Photoshopping skills, I was also able to introduce my interests in illustration and typography into my work.

VCCP London gave me the chance to lead the design and art direct on many exciting clients such as O2, easyJet, The Sunday Times, and Hiscox. The work at VCCP included a wide variety of different platforms to develop my skills in, from websites and microsites to mobile applications and interactive installations. The experience of working in an integrated agency for the first time was an eye opener and I enjoyed working closely with the ATL creatives along with the digital teams. It was a great achievement for me to be a part of the team that was awarded Campaign’s Agency of the Year award in 2011.

McDonald’s, Unilever and BlackBerry were a few of the exciting clients I worked for at Razorfish London, where I became an Art Director. The McDonald’s account in particular has seen a huge growth over the past 2 years. For the McDonald’s My Burger campaign, I worked closely with the Creative Director and Associate Creative Directors to create an engaging and exciting art direction that would be used through all lines of communication, from digital to ATL. My 2 year experience at Razorfish has allowed me to develop my understanding of art direction as well improving my illustration and typography skills.
