Calaveras Unified School District NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS 2017 INFORMAL BIDDING CONTRACTORS LIST The Calaveras Unified School District (CUSD) has adopted the State of California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act under Public Contract Code (PCC) 22000 et seq. In accordance with the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Commission, CUSD is inviting all interested licensed contractors to submit an application for their company’s inclusion on CUSD’s Informal Bidding Contractors list of qualified contractors for the calendar year 2017. CUSD will maintain a list of qualified contractors according to the trade categories of work the contractor company perform(s). Pursuant to the California Public Code 22030, any Public Works Project that is estimated to be below $175,000 is subject to the Informal Bidding Procedures set forth by the State of California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Commission. All trade categories are subject to Informal Bidding Procedures. Contractors that are interested in being on the 2017 Informal Bidding Contractors List are required to have a current State of California Contractors license in the appropriate classification and are subject to verification through the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). Additionally, pursuant to SB 854, all are also required to be registered Public Works Contractor and are subject to verification through the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Licensed contractors interested in being placed on CUSD’s 2017 Informal Bidding Contractors List for public works projects up to $175,000, please complete and return the CUSD Prequalification Application. CUSD will be reviewing and approving prequalification applications throughout the year and adding qualified contractors to our 2017 Informal Bidding Contractors List.
