Early Release Day-Wednesday November 23rd

A note from the Principal It has been quite the spirited week here at Coyle and Cassidy! Our high school hallways are decorated with class colors, and the middle school homeroom doors have been decorated to show school spirit. We have had excellent class participation and the students have definitely shown their enthusiasm during our annual spirit week activities. We are very mindful of those in our community and in our world who experience hunger on a regular basis. Yesterday, we recognized “Hunger Awareness Day” with a prayer service and the offering of a simple rice meal. Please see excerpts in our video clips of the week. On behalf of the administration, faculty and staff I would like to wish you and your family a most blessed Thanksgiving.

All students will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23rd in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Please note the city of Taunton has no school so there will be no bus transportation to or from school. Parents are asked to please pick up their student on time as our school will be closing early. There is no ESP and no after school activities. Due to the shortened week, there will be no newsletter next week. Congratulations Congratulations to Senior Joe Gill and Sophomore Rachael Johnson who were honored at this week’s MIAA Cross Country breakfast. Joe and Rachael represented the EAC conference and were recognized for volunteerism, academics, athletics and sportsmanship. Congratulations to Coach David Barbato who was also recognized for his leadership. Congratulations to Senior Evan Ferris who signed a letter of intent to play Division 1 baseball at Monmouth University. Christmas Gift Shop Our annual Christmas Gift Shop will be held on Saturday, December 10th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. All students are asked to bring in an unwrapped toy on December 6th for our toy giving service.

Sincerely, Mrs. St. Laurent
