No : 03/2016 All Members, Mock trading from BCP/DR Site on Saturday, March 19, 2016 Exchange shall be conducting a mock trading session on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from Primary and BCP site. The mock will be followed by a Re-Log in session from Primary site in order to avoid log in problems on Monday, March 21, 2016. The schedule of the mock trading is as follows: Mock trading from Primary Site (No change in TAP settings. Retain the settings of live market as of Friday, March 18, 2016): Saturday, March 19, 2016 Normal Market

End Time 11:00 hrs

Mock trading from BCP Site (Kindly change TAP settings as per Annexure- 2): Saturday, March 19, 2016 Start Time End Time 14:15 hrs 15:30 hrs Normal Market Re-Log in Session (Kindly change TAP settings as per Annexure- 3):

Members are required to perform the following:



All the outstanding orders shall be purged before the start of trading from BCP site. Members using NNF software should clear the outstanding orders of session 1 in their systems before trading from BCP site.



Select ‘BCP’ radio button in TAP configuration parameters screen & save the same before login in BCP environment. (Details as per Annexure-2).



For login to live environment in re-login session and from Monday March 21, 2016 onwards, please select the ‘Primary’ radio button in TAP configuration parameters screen & save the same. (Details as per Annexure-3).

Annexure – 1 Operational instructions for BCP mock trading session:

    

The Connect2NSE and Extranet facility on Vsat/Lease-line will not be available from 10 pm on Friday, March 18, 2016 to 6:30 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2016. However, Extranet facility on internet will be available. Trades resulting from this session shall not attract any obligation in terms of funds and / or securities pay-in and/or pay-out. Kindly do not transfer any data files for this session. Kindly participate actively in the mock trading sessions to be held from Primary as well as BCP site from all trading software. Also, re-login into live environment to check the connectivity to Primary site and to avoid login problems on Monday, March 21, 2016. Kindly refer to the website of NSE at www.nseindia.com for any information which may be updated by the Exchange on the BCP mock trading session. Annexure - 2 TAP configuration for BCP login for mock trading session on Saturday, March 19, 2016 a. INTEGRATED WINDOWS TAP CONFIGURATION 1) 2) 3) 4)

Start TCMS. Under the menu bar, select the TAB named ‘TAP’. Go to TAP Configuration and select the market segment you want to configure. In the configuration dialog, selecting ‘BCP’ Radio Button, your screen will look like this:

5) On Save click, under BCP Prompt below is just a confirmation asked when respective TAP is running.

Select ‘Yes’

6) Confirmation to save configuration for BCP environment.

Select ‘Yes’ 7) On successful modification, TCMS user will get a response “Parameter(s) updated successfully in Tap configuration file” for that particular market as shown in the fig. below. Thus indicating that the changes made are reflected correctly.

Start the TCMS. Select option TAP configuration Menu. Then select particular market type, in which you want to make the changes (e.g CM). To connect to BCP environment please select the option ‘Switch to BCP Configuration’

5) Then select ‘Save’ or ‘Save & Exit’

Members are requested to verify following “Route” entries on their TAP server to ensure successful login at BCP site. Network Address 172.18.0.0 

Netmask 255.255.0.0

Gateway Address

Gateway address IP must be - TAP IP minus 1, which means, the last digit of the IP minus 1. Example:- If TAP Server IP is 10.222.10.2 then Gateway IP should be 10.222.10.1.
