*flu season is around the corner and part of keeping all of our children healthy and learning is to encourage frequent hand washing, sneezing/coughing in elbows, eating healthy, drinking plenty of fluids and getting plenty of rest.

* CCISD has a district wide fever policy: If a child has a fever greater than 100 degrees, they may not return to school until they have been fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications.

*update the clinic of any changes in your child’s health and/or changes in telephone numbers. complete (front and back) and return your child’s emergency card to the school nurse. front

All prescription medications to be given at school will require written authorization signed by the physician and parent/guardian.
