NWEA Proctor Notes 1. Sign into the NWEA site (teach.mapnwea.org) using your Powerschool username followed by “lps” (without the quotes) and the password that was sent to your email from NWEA. For example, my Powerschool username is “jreblin”, so my NWEA username is “jreblinlps”. Forgot your password? Click “Forgot Username or Password?”. Put in your GMail email address. Check your Lewiston Public Schools GMail for your new sign in information. 2. Once signed in, click Manage Test Sessions

3. Click Find Students to Test

4. Choose School, Grade, Instructor, Class

5. Click Search. Student names will appear in the window

6. Click Add Students

7. Click the checkbox next to Last Name to select all students 8. Click Assign Test 9. Click on drop down menu for Select Test

10. Click on MAP: Math 6+ Common Core 2010 V2 (Common Core Mathematics K-12: 2010) OR

Map: Reading 6+ Common Core 2010 V2 (Common Core English Language Arts K-12: 2010) 11. Click Assign. Students will now be assigned a test 12.Click Test Now at bottom of webpage 13. Write the test session name and session password on the board at the front of the classroom

14. Click the Select Status dropdown (See below) 15. Click All from the dropdown list to select all students

16. When status changes to “Waiting to be Confirmed” click Confirm Now. The test will begin on the student devices.

17. When student are finished click End Test Session Possible Actions: Pause: To pause test up to 30 minutes. Resume: To resume a paused test. Suspend: To close the test for future make-up Terminate: To end test (test data will not be recorded)

Student Steps 1. Students will need to click on the NWEA icon on their Dock.

2. Students log in using the Testing Session Name and Session Password at the top of the Test Students proctor page.
