P-CCS FOOD AND NUTRITION UPDATES CLICK HERE to view/download the 2017 P-CCS Food & Nutrition Back to School Newsletter The Nutrition team has been working hard to get ready for another school year. We have successfully transitioned to our new point of sale system and everything is on track. We will all continue to work together as a team to keep moving forward. Updated Pricing Breakfast Full/Reduced Lunch - Full/Reduced Elementary $1.75/$0.30 $3.00/$0.40 Middle $1.90/$0.30 $3.50/$0.40 High School $1.90/$0.30 $3.50/$0.40 Below are some reminders on accessing your student’s meal account and how to apply for free and reduced benefits. Where do parents make payments and view student purchases? MyPaymentsPlus is a one stop shop that allows parents to make payments, pre-pay for meals, check purchase history, and set up low balance notification alerts. Parents can go to www.mypaymentsplus.com and register for a free account. They will need to have their student’s ID number. If they do not know their student’s ID number, they can contact the school. Through this secure website they can manage their student’s nutrition account, make online payments, and pre-pay for meals. To make a payment on the student's account there is a convenience fee charged for the use. Is there a mobile app for My Payments Plus? Yes. One of the great features of this system is that parents can download a free mobile app that is available for iOS and Android. Simply search “MyPaymentsPlus” and proceed to download the app. We know this will be very helpful on those busy days that our parents experience. How can parents apply for free and reduced benefits? After July 1, 2016, parents can conveniently apply online for benefits, or if they prefer, submit a paper application. The application from last year cannot be used. Please dispose of the old application and obtain a new one from: https://frapps.horizonsolana.com/PLYC01 If my student has money left over on their nutrition account, or still owes money, will it transfer to the next school year?
Yes. Remaining funds and due balances will transfer. They will follow the student from one school year to the next, as long as they are in the district. The Nutrition Department has gone digital for menus! For grades K-8. The menu is available on http://pccsk12.nutrislice.com. You can print menus from home or download a free app available on iOs or Android. Simply search “NutriSlice”
