Welcome to Plymouth-Canton Community Schools. Prospective high school students must follow a 3 step process….it’s as easy as 1…2…3! What is your situation? .

If you are new to the area and your child has never attended a Plymouth-Canton school or your child attended a Plymouth-Canton school but left prior to the end of grade 6, your child will need a high school assignment. Call (734) 582-5584 to make an appointment for a random high school assignment. Proof of residency will be established at this appointment.

If your child completed their 6th grade year in the district, contact the high school your child was assigned to at that time. See Step 2 for what you will need to bring to the registration appointment. If your child had a sibling that attended one of the PCEP high schools, and you would like this child to attend the same high school, contact that high school. See Step 2 for what you will need to bring to the registration appointment.

Proof of residency must be established at this appointment. You will need to provide the following documentation:  a recent property tax statement with a DTE/Consumer’s bill  or a signed lease agreement with a DTE/Consumer’s bill (note: a lease agreement with a private homeowner must include the notarized signature of the homeowner)  or a closing statement and/or property transfer affidavit for a new home purchase – a DTE/Consumer’s bill will need to be provided within a determined amount of time You will also need to provide:    

Parent Driver’s License – for ID purposes only  Original birth certificate Student Immunization Record  Copy of transcripts for grades 9-12 Recent IEP for Special Education Students Withdrawal Grades/Report Card (when enrolling after the start of school)

You will also need to print and complete the following forms from our district website. Please bring them to your registration appointment:  Registration Form  Emergency Form  Health Form  Internet Consent  Concussion Education Information – Review

Meet with your Guidance Counselor once the appropriate paperwork is completed.
