Christmas in Clinton
Luminaria lit the way through the sights, smells, and sounds of the holiday season at the annual Christmas in Clinton celebration on Dec. 3. East Main Street was alive with folks enjoying historical tours, children’s activities, contests, and craft shows, with plenty of hot chocolate and food for everyone. All capped off with the lighting of the town Christmas tree and the arrival of Santa. Eileen and Art Smith took the Family division prize in the Ugly Sweater Contest sponsored by the Clinton Education Foundation. Photo by Ken Hartley
Chamber member Technique Printers is hosting its 18th annual Mitten Tree. Donations of new mittens or gloves (hats are welcome, too) are being accepted at its location at 36 Old Post Road in Clinton. The mittens are displayed on Technique’s tree before being given to local charities for distribution.
