Very informative By Brandon Alvarez I initially bought this book because I saw it on Instagram and wanted to learn more about fitness as a firefighter because I want to be one in the near future after high school. After having read some chapters I've learned a lot not just about maintaining physical fitness but about firefighting as well. I plan on going down to my local station and showing the book to the firefighters. It breaks down the various physical duties of a firefighter, how taxing they can be on the body and why being in top shape is extremely important. It also provides detailed workouts which simulate various task to be performed by a firefighter.
