Project Launch 2018 Parent/Legal Guardian Permission

Here at The Launch Pad, we always encourage parents/legal guardians to be involved and support their teens’ activities and interests. Sometimes teens need help with managing their time and communication. In addition to providing your permission to allow your teen to participate in Project Launch 2018, we would like to ask for your commitment in supporting them during this important program. We want to also take this opportunity to make you aware of two important expectations for the program. Attendance Expectations: We realize that conflicts happen; however, because the workshops build upon one another, participants who are routinely late or absent may be asked to withdraw from the program. Internship Expectations: The 3-month summer internship portion of the program will be treated like a job. Teens will be expected to complete 3-5 hours of work with their host business each week. There is no guarantee of a job at the end of the internship. During the internship, teens will receive regular feedback and support regarding their job performance for their continued learning and growth.
