Instructions to register for the Protecting God’s Children on-line (or live) class:
1. Click on “First-Time Registrant”

Click on “Begin the registration process” or to view a list of upcoming ‘live’ sessions

Click on drop down box and choose Pittsburgh, PA (Diocese) and click on “Select”
4.
Create a User ID and Password (be sure to write down this log in information) and click “Continue”
5.
Complete page and click “Continue”

Click on drop down box and choose the parish or school you work/volunteer in then click “Continue”

Click on “No” (only one location is needed)
8.
Click on the correct role and brief title in the box then click on “Continue”

Answer questions and click on “Continue”
10. Be certain to click on “No”!!!

11. Scroll to the bottom of page and choose the on-line course and click on “Complete Registration”
12. Click on “Go to Virtus Online” to begin the course https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/index.cfm or click on the PGC/Virtus Home Page link on the diocesan home page www.diopitt.org
13. You are back at the login home page and sign in using the ID and Password you created Page 6 of 8
14. Click on “Protecting God’s Children Online Awareness Session 3.0” to begin. At this screen you can also switch to an upcoming live session. If you originally chose a live session and want to switch to online, please contact the Office for Protection and Youth – email Colleen Murin
[email protected] to make the change. This currently can’t be done on this page.

15. Click on “Click Here to Start”
16. You can now start the class!
