PICK-UP/DROP-OFF RESIDENT CAMP CHECK-IN The drop-off time for opening day of Camp Don Bosco is between 9:30am and 10:30am. The drop-off time for opening day at Camp Hamilton is 10:30-11:30am. We ask that you please arrive at camp between these times as it helps both the staff and campers. If you need to drop-off your child later than the check-in time, or get lost, please call the camp number and let our office staff know. Our parking lots are not large so please carpool if possible and be patient while we direct traffic. Our staff will help you park your car, and then direct you to the check in tables. Please have all of your medications including vitamins in hand. After you have checked in, your child is ready to grab their luggage and walk with a staff member to camp! You will say goodbye to your camper in the parking lot (Hamilton) or at their cabin (Camp Don Bosco). It is important to arrive on time and also to depart as soon as you are finished with the check-in processes to keep traffic moving. Homesickness is also lessened if you don’t spend large amounts of time in the parking lot or cabin with your child. We are accredited by the American Camp Association who also writes very helpful articles for parents. *Please allow ample time to drop-off and pick-up your child – it is not unusual to wait up to 10 minutes while your camper is checked in. Parent Program and Pick-up/Check-out CYO is excited to be presenting a Parent Program at the end of each resident camp session so that our campers can show their parents a bit of camp. This program will start promptly at the times listed and last approximately half an hour. Camp Hamilton: 9:30am with Coffee and Pastries for the families Camp Don Bosco: 10:30am including a family BBQ lunch

If you choose not to participate in the parent program please pick up your child up from: Camp Hamilton between 10:00-10:30am Camp Don Bosco between 11:00 and 11:30am SIGN IN/OUT PROCEDURES Every camper will have to be signed in and out of camp or the camp bus. At check-in on the first day of camp, you will be asked for a list of persons who will be authorized to drop-off and pick-up your child at either the camp or bus. If you need to add someone to that list after camp starts please call 206-3824591. 

The person dropping a camper off must sign the child in and stay with the camper until the child has completed the check-in process.

At the conclusion of camp, the child will be released to the care of the authorized adult who signed the child in or is on a list of authorized persons. Anyone picking up a child at the end of camp may be required to show a valid photo ID. In situations where there is a restraining or no-contact order involved, a copy of the order must be delivered to the CYO office prior to the opening day of camp so we can comply with the order.

If an adult drops a child off and leaves without checking in, the child will be transported to the CYO office and the parents called to come for their child. SHOULD AN ADULT ATTEMPT TO PICK UP THE CHILD WITHOUT BEING ON THE LIST THEY MUST WAIT UNTIL ALL OTHER CAMPERS HAVE BEEN PROCESSED AND WE HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO A THOROUGH INVESTIGATION.
