PowerSchool Registration Family Access New students only! 1. A Parent/Guardian either calls, emails or stops in to register their child 2. School gives them the attached preregistration form either by email, addressing them to go to our website or in person and specifies documents needed! 3. Parent / Guardian fills out preregistration form (see attached) and brings back documents required! 4. After school has all required information and documents, a LASID, and SASID (if not already assigned) should be created. 5. School enters preregistration information into Student Information System. 6. School will notify parent when to log in to the parent portal https://lunenburgpublicschools.powerschool.com/public and continue their registration with their user name and temporary password that the administration has created. Please create a permanent password when logging in to your account. Returning students – beginning of new year - parent logs into the Parent Portal with their account information (if they do not have this, contact the school to create access account information ), clicks on the registration link and update the new school year form information A parent / guardian all year may update the” all year form” information with any changes that may occur – Example phone, email, emergency contacts.

Once logged in, there are 2 separate options to use in order to access PowerSchool Registration. The first method families may use is to select the “Applications” Icon in the top right hand corner of the Parent Portal. This will then take you to the PowerSchool Registration page.

The second method in which families can access PowerSchool Registration is by selecting the PowerSchool Registration option on the bottom left hand corner of the Parent Portal page.

Once families have selected the PowerSchool Registration icon, they will be taken to a page to select the registration they would like to access. This page will display the appropriate form for the family, depending on whether the student is New or Existing.

After selecting “Start Form”, families will be directed to the form that needs to be completed. They should then fill out all required information within the form, as well as any other applicable information. Existing student’s fields will be prepopulated from the previous school year. Once the family has completed the form, they should scroll to the bottom of the screen and select the “Submit Form” option. After this process is complete, families should be directed to log out of their Parent Portal account in order to ensure their information remains secure.
