President’s Message September 2, 2006 Dear BC Conservative Member, I would like to invite you to attend our party’s 2006 Annual General Meeting on Saturday and Sunday, October 21st and 22nd. The AGM will be held at the Best Western Inn in Kelowna. BC Conservative members may attend both the AGM and the banquet dinner on Saturday for a package price of $75. The price for a member to attend just the AGM will be $50, while the price to attend the just the banquet dinner will be $35. Your AGM registration fees will include a buffet lunch on Saturday. Non-members who wish to attend our AGM as an observer will be charged $60 (banquet dinner not included). Make sure to mail in your registrations as soon as possible, as the registration fee will be an extra $10 at the door. I am proud that the BC Conservative Party adopted a modern, new logo this past year. The party also held a successful leadership and policy convention in Kamloops this past March. With a new leader in place, and some fresh policies to present to voters, our party is well on its way to organizing a successful campaign in the next provincial election. I look forward to electing a number of BC Conservative MLAs in May 2009! It has been a pleasure to serve as your President and Vice President since the September 2004 Annual General Meeting. I will not be running again for the position of President, but I will remain actively involved in the Party. I look forward to seeing you all in Kelowna this October.
