POSITION SUMMARY The Field Service Engineer position is responsible for onsite service and support of Radix’s existing customer base. The Field Service Engineer also supports sales growth through onsite evaluations, assessment and customer communication. Field Service Engineers are responsible for troubleshooting, installation and start up support and ongoing monitoring of Radix’s equipment at customer sites in Michigan, Ohio & elsewhere in the US. Qualifications/Requirements • College degree, Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology • Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial controls, robotics or vision systems design & programming with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Proven strong technical and analytical skills •
Good interpersonal relationship skills, time management and organizational skills needed.

Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical and/or electronic equipment.

Must be willing to travel (personal transportation required) throughout assigned support area.
Essential Responsibilities • The Field Service Engineer, with minimal supervision, inspects, services, repairs, upgrades or installs equipment on which training has been provided • Performs installs, upgrades, and repairs for with various manufacturing customers (automotive, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, consumer electronics and alternative energy) • Promote company products and services and generate a monthly revenue stream in billable services • Respond to customer service emergencies either on-site or remotely
