Stepping up of pay of Loco Inspectorsinducted to prior 0I/M/2A06 on remaining6 YzZonesin Indian Railways. Upgradationof Apex level Group 'c'posts to Group 'B' (Gaz). TrackMaintainersupgradation.

Issuesdeserveto be consideredfavourablv:

InterRailwayrequesttransfercasesof formerDefenceForcesPersonnel re-employed in Railwaysand also applicationsof widows/widowers - Exemptionfrom 5 years minimumservicecondition- GSATFIR's letterNo. Ill|4lPart VIt dated,23/0212017 to Hon'bleMR. Absorptionof staff of QuasiAdministrativeunits in Railways- Restorationof policy decisionof 1973 & 1977 which was arbitrarily cancelledin the year 1997.

NFIR once gain brings to your kind notice that the injustice done to the Technical Supervisors/Inspectorial categorystaff is yet to be rectified although Railway Ministry had agreedwith the Federationthat the GradePay 46001-would be replacedwith the GP 4800/-.Similarly, upgradationof Apex level Group 'C' posts to Group 'B' Gazetted(3335 posts) have not been approvedtill date even though Railway Ministry haveagreedyearsback. Kind attentionof Hon'ble MR is invitedto the Hon'ble MR's D.O. No. PC-VII/20lslR/Vlgdated20'h Apnl2017 to Shri Arun Jaitley,Hon'ble Minister of Finance,Governmentof India wherein it was urgedto see that approvalis given for grantingparity that existedat the time of implementationof 5'hCPC recommendations. The Railway Ministry has also sent OM No. PC- VII/2015/R/V19 dated08'h February 2017 to the Finance Ministry (Departmentof Expenditure)with detailedjustification seekingrevision of pay scalesof Group 'C' supervisorsas well Group 'B' Offtcersin Railways.Unfortunately,therehas beenno clearancefrom Ministry df Finance. NFIR, therefore,requestsyour personalinterventiontowards resolving these pending issueswithout further lossof time. We requestyou to kindly meet Hon'ble FinanceMinister and impressupon him the needfor giving approvalas abnormaldelay in settlingtheseagreedsubjectshas beencausingseriousdiscontentment and heartburningamongSupervisorsand InspectorialStaff of variousDepartmentsover IndianRailways.
