Narrated ‘Ubada bin As-samit: The Prophet said “Whoever gets up at night and says: La Ilaha Ila-lallah Wahdahu la Sharika Lahu Lahu-l-mulk, WaLahu-Lhamd Wahuwa ‘ala Kullishai’in Qadir. Alhamdu lil-lahi wa subhanal-lahi wa la-ilaha il-lal-lah il-lal-lah wal-lahu akbar wa la hawla Wala Quwata il-labil-lah (No one has the right to be worshipped but Allah. He is the Only One and has no partners. For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. All the praises are for Allah. All the glories are for Allah. And none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, And Allah is Great And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allah). And then says: Allahumma, Ighfir li (O Allah! Forgive me). Or invokes (Allah), he will be responded to and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted.” [Bukhari] Narrated Abu Huraira Allah’s Apostle said “Satan puts three knots at the back of the head of any of you if he is asleep. On every knot he reads and exhales he following words, “The night is long, so stay asleep” When one wakes up and remember Allah, one knot is undone: and when one performs ablution, the second knot is undone, and when one prays the third knot is undone and one gets up energetic with a good heart in the morning; otherwise one gets up lazy and with a mischievous heart” [Bukhari] Narrated Ibn Umar the Prophet said: “Allah and his Angels sends blessings on the ones who perform Suhoor” [At-Tabarani, Ibn Hiban, Al-Albani]

Leaving to the Masjid: Narrated “Umar bin Al-Khattab: The Prophet said: “The (reward of) deeds depend on intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he intends. So, whoever migrated for Allah and His Apostle, then his migration will be for Allah and His Apostle, and whoever migrated for worldly benefits or for marrying a woman, then his migration will be for what he migrated for” [Bukhari] Anas reported that the messenger of Allah said: “Whoever says when he leaves his house ‘Bismillah tawakkaltu ‘ala Allah, Wa laa hawla wa laa Quwwata Illa Billah (In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah and there is not power and no strength except with Allah)” it will be said to him "You are guided, defended and protected." The devils will go far from him and another devil will say: How can you deal with a man who has been guided, defended and protected? [Abu Dawood] ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Abbaas said: “… Then the muezzin gave the call to prayer, and he (the Prophet ) came out, saying, ‘Allaahumma aj’al fi qalbi nooran wa fi lisaani nooran waj’al fi sam’i nooran waj’al fi basari nooran waj’al min khalfi nooran wa min amaami nooran waj’al min fawqi nooran wa min tahti nooran, Allaahummah a’tini nooran (O Allaah, place with my heart light, and upon my tongue light, and within my ears light and within my eyes light, and place behind me light and in front of me light and above me light and beneath me light, O Allaah, bestow upon me light).” [Muslim] The Prophet said: “There is no man who purifies himself well, then he goes to one of theses mosques, but Allah will record one good deed for him for every step he takes, and will raise him in statues on degree thereby, and will erase one bad deed thereby.” [Muslim] Abu Huraiyrah narrated that messenger said “When any one of you enters the Masjid, let him send blessings upon the Prophet Peace be upon him peace be upon him and say, Allaahumma iftah li abwaab rahmatika (O Allah, open to me the gates of Your mercy). And when he leaves let him send blessing upon the Prophet peace be upon Him and say, Allaahumma I’simni min al-shaytaan irajeem (O Allah, protect me from the accursed shaytaan). [Ibn Maajah, Saheeh by Al-Albani]

Narrated by Aa’ishah that the Prophet said: “Two Rakaah of Fajr are better than Dunia and what’s in it” [Musnaad Abu Yaalah] The Prophet said “A Du’aa offered between the Adhaan and Iqaamah is not rejected. [Abu Dawood and Al-Tirmidhi] The Prophet said: “Whoever prays the dawn prayer in congregation, it is as if he had prayed the whole night [Muslim-ATirmidhi] The prophet said: “Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, then sits and remembers Allah (makes dhikr) until the sun rises, then prays two rak’ahs, will have a reward like that for Hajj and “Umrah, complete, complete.” [Saheeh Al-Jaami]

Abd-Allah ibn Mas’ood said: The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever reads one letter of the Book of Allah will have one Hasanah for it, and each Hasanah is a tenfold reward. I do not say that Alif-Laam-Meem is a letter, rather Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter and Meem is a letter.” [At-Tirmidhi]

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When I say ‘Subhaan Allaah, wa’l-hamdu Lillah, wa laa ilaah ill-Allaah, wa Allaahu akbar (Glory be to Allaah, praise be to Allaah, there is no god except Allaah, and Allaah is Most Great)’, this is more beloved to me than all that the sun rises upon.” (Narrated by Muslim). Jaabir may Allah be pleased with him said: The messenger of Allah said “Whoever visits a sick person is plunging into mercy until he sit down, and when he sits down he is submerged in it” Imam Ahmad—Al-Albani]

Thahabath-Dhama’-o wabtallatil-’Ourooq, wathabatal-ajru inShaa’Allah. ‘The thirst has gone and the veins are quenched, and reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.’ The Prophet "used to break the fast before he prayed with fresh dates, if there were no fresh dates then with dry dates, and if there were no dry dates, then he sipped from water." [At-Tirmidhi] It was narrated that Zayd ibn Khaalid al-Juhani said: The Messenger of Allaah said: “Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” [al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Maajah]
It was reported that Abu Mas’ood al-Badri (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah said: ‘The last two aayahs of Soorat al-Baqarah – whoever recites them at night, they will be sufficient for him.’” [Bukhaari and Muslim]

Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with them both) reported that the Prophet said: “Purify these bodies and Allaah will purify you, for there is no slave who goes to sleep in a state of purity but an angel spends the night with him, and every time he turns over, [the angel] says, ‘O Allaah, forgive Your slave, for he went to bed in a state of purity.’” [AtTabaraani]

It was narrated from Mu’aadh ibn Anas that his father said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever eats some food then says, ‘Alhamdu Lillaahi allahi at’amani haadha wa razaqnihi min ghayri hawlin minni wa laa quwwa (Praise be to Allaah Who has fed me this and provided me with it with no power or strength on my part),’ his previous sins will be forgiven.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 3458; Ibn Maajah, 3285; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 3348). The Prophet did regularly and encouraged the Muslims to do as he said: “Whoever prays qiyaam in Ramadaan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” [Bukhaari and Muslim] It was narrated that Abu Dharr (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah
said: “Whoever stands with the imaam until he finishes, it is equivalent to spending the whole night in prayer.” [At-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, An-Nasaa’I and others]
