Rules & Conditions 1. BJCP Competition Rules and BJCP Style Guidelines for judging are available at: http://www.bjcp.org/ 2. Entrants may only enter one beer per style (but you can enter more than one style!). Organisers may reclassify or disqualify incorrectly nominated entries (we’ll try to contact you first though) 3. Judges and stewards may enter a category that they are judging/stewarding for feedback. However, their scores will not be recognised and they will not be eligible for prizes in that category. 4. Please provide one to TWO BOTTLES per entry with an overall minimum of 500 ml between the two bottles with duplicate entry forms clearly marked Bottle 1 and Bottle 2 attached separately to each. Brewers can enter only one bottle if they so wish (minimum size of 500mL) – in fact, we’d prefer just one bottle. All entry forms and fees must be attached by rubber band. 5. Beers in each category will be judged by a panel of at least 2 judges (we’ll try to have at least one BJCP accredited judge in each). Completed scoresheets will be returned to entrants. 6. Prizes will be awarded for the best scoring beers in each category (possibly for 2nd and 3rd as well if we can find prizes). Best beers and placegetters will be decided by a mutually agreed resolution by the judging panel. 7. Beers placed first each style will go on to a Best of Show round (BOS). The top beer will be decided on consensus and take out Champion Beer of Show. 8. 2014 RBT German & Belgian Beers Competition is a BJCP registered competition. 9. Competition will be judged on Saturday the 28th of June, unless we are bombarded with entries in which case some styles may be completed in the days prior. 10. Results will be published on the RBT website: http://righteousbrewers.com
