MESSAGE FROM THE TREASURER Hi Gang: A new season is here and I am looking forward to better weather and great flying. This should be an exciting season as lots of new planes will be taking off, several guys are building giant scale warbirds and others have some neat scale projects on the go. It's going to be great. It's now February and dues should be paid. We have been an easy going laid back club for some time and that’s fine, but it turns out a couple of guys did not pay at all last year. This is, of course, unfair to all that did. So, I will be posting a paid member list in the clubhouse and at Flight Supply, I will update it at least monthly. Everyone can help, so if you see someone who has be flying for months, but not on the list, then point that out to me and I will look into it. Safety is another thing we can't be lax on. I am an example, I got too complacent with my 40 inch electric foamy and the engine suddenly powered up and the prop slashed deep into my arm. I had to sit four hours in emergency to get stitched up (not fun). So always remember, small planes can also cause injury. Review the MACC safety rules and use common sense. If you see something unsafe going on, please say something right away, as an accident can happen in the blink of an eye and cannot be undone. Let's continue to have fun and love what we do!
