RECONSTITUTING THE QUEZON CITY LOCAL HEAL H BOARD WHEREAS, Republic Act 7160, as amended, created and stablished local health boards in the provincial, city and municipal levels of governm ent to prioritize the health needs of the community; WHEREAS, the health policies and programs of the city overnment need to be further enhanced to widen the coverage of health services for Qu zon City residents; , WHEREAS, for the aforesaid purpose, there is a need to reconstitute th e City's Health Board; I

DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS. The Qu ezon Ci y Local Health Board shall have the following functions:

Propose to the Sangguniang Panlungsod, in accordance with the standards 1 set by the Departm nt of Health, annual budgetary allocation for the operation and maintenance of heal h facilities and services within the City; 2.2. Serve as an advisory committee to the Sanggunianfl Panlungsod on health matters such as, bu not limited to, the necessity for and application of approp riations for public health pur poses; I 2.3. Create c mmittees which shall advise the departm entsjoffices of the city 1 government on mat ers such as, but not limited to, personnel sTlection and promotion, bids and awards, rievance and complaints, personnel discipline, budget review, operations review and similar functions, consistent with the technical and administrative stan ards of the Department of Health.
