Mission: To help children and adults with special needs, and their families, meet their unique challenges through advocacy and program support. Children and families served by SNSC are more productive, have greater independence, and are empowered to contribute to their communities.

Special Needs Support Center started from a small group of parents of children with disabilities who reached out to other parents in the community. Over the years, SNSG has evolved with the times and continues to expand it’s services and supporting families with disabilities.

Programs: Life Long Learning – Educational Courses for post-secondary education to adults with developmental and special needs. Open to transitioning students their last year of high school. Art Lab – Post-secondary class for adults with developmental and special needs. Open to transitioning students their last year of high school. Connections – Big Brother/Big Sister program Happenings – Social and recreational activities for students grades 10 and above and adults with developmental disabilities; collaboration between Pathways and Special Needs Support Center Aspire – Collaboration with Dartmouth students to provide play group for young children with autism STAR – (Steps Towards Adult Responsibility) Collaboration with Dartmouth Mentors and teens with chronic disabilities.
