Tips for Using REVISE THIS with Google Docs • Copy and paste the sentences and email them to the students in a group email through Google Groups (www.groups.google.com) or any group email. • Students can then cut and paste the sentences from their email into a Google Docs document and work in pairs to revise the sentences. • To save class time, student can work at home as a homework assignment since they can collaborate from any computer with an Internet connection. • Without group email, teachers can print out the sentences and students can simply type each sentence into Google Docs and still collaborate from home. • Teachers might also want to take awkward sentences from actual student essays and ask students to collaborate to revise them.
