UNR CAMPUS CRITERIUM
SATURDAY - APRIL 11, 2015 Races will be held at the University of Nevada Campus, Reno. USAC Racing starts at 8:00am, registration opens at 7:00am. Collegiate Registration opens at 11:00. Racing starts at 1:00pm. The Crit Course runs around the medical center on the UNR campus. The route begins in the parking lot between 17th St and Enterprise Rd adjacent to the medical sciences buildings on the UNR Campus. Cyclists will head north on the route before making a right hand turn onto Enterprise, after which the race moves to the east before entering the parking lot of the Center for Molecular Medicine (right turn). It will proceed through this parking lot and then along the short drive south of the Pennington Center for Medical Education. Cyclists will turn right again at East Stadium Way to complete the circuit. The course is .7 miles in length. There is a little bit of climbing and some very fast sections. Most of the pavement is fairly new, so it should be pretty fast and fun. Please pick up all of your trash; a trash receptacle is located at the registration area. There are drinking fountains on campus, in the Joe Crowley Student Union building, to refill water bottles. Certified EMTs will be on site to assist any and all medical needs. CATEGORY USAC
