Lee County Music Association Presents

Rock Band 101 The Lee County Music Association is kicking off our program with a kid’s rock band! To start, we are looking for a guitarist, bass player, singer, drummer and keyboardist. Those that play other instruments are welcome to audition as well. Do you have what it takes to be in a real, performing rock band? Kids will be involved in all aspects of a band: rehearsing, merching, promoting, and performing. Not a musician? That’s okay! Are you a wiz on social media? Have cool designs you want to share? We are also looking for someone to create an online image and promote the band. Auditions will be Sunday, April 2nd at the Fort Madison Public Library from 2pm to 4pm. Please bring any instrument not listed above. Auditioners must be in 6th through 12th grade. Come with your musical talent and be ready to JAM!!! We would like to encourage those who cannot play an instrument to come as well; we would still like your information. All slots may not be filled and the opportunity to learn an instrument may be available. Rehearsals will be in Fort Madison.
