CLARIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO DEPED MEMORANDUM NO. 160, S. 2017 (2018 National Festival of Talents) To:

1. The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Learning DeliveryStudent Inclusion Division (BLD-SID) announced the 2018 National Festival of Talents through DepEd Memorandum No. 160, s. 2017. In view of this, the following clarifications and additional information are hereby provided: a.

For early registration of regional delegates for the 2018 National Festival of Talents (NFOT) from February 19 to 23, 2018 in Dumagucte City, the regions are strongly encouraged to register online through the official division: website and schools of the host region http/ /nfot20 18 .weebly.com; They are advised to accomplish the necessary registration form found in the website to facilitate the preparation of necessary materials and other administrative arrangements for the participants; Payment of registration fee should be deposited to the DepEd Division of Negros Oriental Account Number 0740-012549-080, Development Bank of the Philippines, Dumaguete Branch. The Deposit Slip or ADA shall be sent through fax no. (035) 422-7644 (c/o Ms. Alicia M. Sagolili); For on-site registration, only the head of the regional delegation or its representative shall be encouraged to do the registration, payment of registration fee and the claim of 2018 Kits at the Negros Oriental High School Assembly Hall; The assembly time for the Bayle sa Kalye is at 6:00 a.m. of February 20, 2018 and the parade will start exactly at 7:30 a.m. The order of the parade is as follows: i. ii. iii. iv. The participants of each region are expected to demonstrate their skills during the parade. No exhibition routines that require pausing or stopping shall be done within the parade route. Marshalls shall be assigned to guide each region and ensure the smooth flow of the parade; The head of the regional delegation and the regional focal person of each of the events are required to attend the Final Orientation and Briefing on February 19, 2018 at the Foundation University Sofia Soller Sinco Hall from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. Clarification of issues and concerns shall be entertained during the general orientation. Issues and concerns related to the skills exhibition guidelines shall not be entertained during the actual conduct of the contest; For Technolympics-Bazaar: The final number of participants in the Bazaar to showcase the products and services shall be five students and one coach; The dates and venues of the different event categories are provided in Enclosure No. 1 for reference and guidance of all concerned; The Billeting of Quarters of Participants is also provided in Enclosure No. 2.
