Scrip​ ​is​ ​a​ ​fundraiser​ ​by​ ​way​ ​of​ ​purchasing​ ​gift​ ​cards.​ ​ ​The​ ​amount​ ​you​ ​pay​ ​goes​ ​directly onto​ ​a​ ​gift​ ​card​ ​to​ ​a​ ​business​ ​of​ ​your​ ​choice​ ​that​ ​is​ ​then​ ​returned​ ​to​ ​you​ ​to​ ​spend​ ​or​ ​give​ ​as a​ ​gift.​ ​ ​The​ ​participating​ ​businesses​ ​donate​ ​a​ ​portion​ ​of​ ​the​ ​money​ ​you​ ​pay​ ​back​ ​to​ ​the Parkrose​ ​Music​ ​Boosters​ ​who​ ​then​ ​use​ ​the​ ​money​ ​on​ ​various​ ​music​ ​education​ ​projects​ ​in Parkrose​ ​Schools. Who​ ​can​ ​purchase​ ​scrip? Anyone!​ ​ ​Parents,​ ​grandparents,​ ​aunts,​ ​uncles,​ ​cousins,​ ​neighbors,​ ​etc.! Where​ ​do​ ​I​ ​get​ ​a​ ​scrip​ ​order​ ​form? Order​ ​forms​ ​are​ ​emailed​ ​out​ ​frequently,​ ​included​ ​in​ ​school​ ​announcements,​ ​and​ ​handed out​ ​at​ ​concerts​ ​and​ ​other​ ​events.​ ​ ​Your​ ​school’s​ ​office​ ​and/or​ ​music​ ​teacher​ ​should​ ​also have​ ​extras​ ​on​ ​hand. How​ ​do​ ​you​ ​purchase​ ​scrip? Fill​ ​out​ ​the​ ​scrip​ ​order​ ​form​ ​with​ ​the​ ​gift​ ​cards​ ​you’d​ ​like​ ​to​ ​purchase​ ​clearly​ ​marked, include​ ​cash​ ​or​ ​a​ ​check​ ​made​ ​out​ ​to​ ​Bronco​ ​Boosters​ ​for​ ​the​ ​amount​ ​of​ ​gift​ ​cards​ ​you’re ordering,​ ​and​ ​turn​ ​it​ ​into​ ​your​ ​school’s​ ​office​ ​or​ ​music​ ​teacher​ ​on​ ​Mondays.​ ​ ​You​ ​will receive​ ​your​ ​gift​ ​cards​ ​at​ ​your​ ​child’s​ ​school​ ​that​ ​same​ ​Friday​ ​if​ ​it’s​ ​a​ ​turn-in​ ​week,​ ​or​ ​the following​ ​Friday​ ​if​ ​it’s​ ​an​ ​off-week.
