PAYMENT POLICY CSI etc. requires payment upon receipt of all orders for materials and services listed in the Exhibitor Service Kit. We encourage the exhibitors to place their orders online on our secure website. We require a credit card on file for any additional charges or balances due for incidental items, material handling, or labor incurred during the show. All unpaid balances must be paid prior to the closing of the show. Discount Pricing CSI etc. Exhibitor Service Kit provides both discounted and standard pricing. To take advantage of the discounted pricing orders must be received, with payment in full, no later than Deadline dates. NON-OFFICIAL CONTRACTOR Show Management has appointed CSI etc. as the official service contractor to perform and provide necessary services and equipment. Should any Exhibitor wish to employ the service of a contractor other than the official contractor, the following conditions must be met. 1.

The Exhibitor must inform CSI etc. of the name and address of the contractor and the work to be performed. This information must be received in writing, no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled move-in date, at CSI etc.

The Non-Official Contractor to be used by the exhibitor must do the following: A. Provide a Certificate of Insurance with at least the following items: Comprehensive, General Liability not less than $1,000,000 with respect to injuries to any one person in an occurrence. $1,000,000 with respect to injuries to more than one person in any one occurrence; and $1,000,000 with respect to damage of property workman’s Compensation Insurance, including employee’s liability coverage, in a minimum amount not less than $1,000,000 of individual and/or aggregate coverage. The Insurance Certificate must also include: The Southeast Cannabis Conference & Expo, exhibiting company name, booth number, and the non-official contractors name and phone number. B. Agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the show. C. Agree to abide by all union rules and regulations. D. Information must be received at CSI etc. no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled move in date. E. Identification badges must be worn at all times. Temporary badges will be provided. Badges will be issued only to persons actually used to supervise, install, dismantle, and maintain exhibit-related equipment. All non-official contractors must check-in at the CSI etc. Service Desk prior to setup and dismantle. F. If the Certificate of Insurance and the Notification of Intent (see below) is not supplied to CSI etc. by the 30 day deadline date, the exhibiting firm or non-official contractor will be required to order labor from CSI etc.

For services such as electrical, plumbing, telephone, cleaning, drayage, and forklift operation, no contractor, other than the official contractor will be approved. This regulation is made necessary because work is done on equipment and in facilities owned by parties other than the Exhibitor. THIRD PARTY AUTHORIZATION FORM To authorize CSI etc. to invoice a third party for payment of services rendered to exhibitors, both the exhibiting company and the third party must complete this form and return it at least 14 days prior to the show move-in. Gratuities CSI etc. requests that exhibitors do not offer gratuities to our employees, as they are paid an excellent wage denoting a professional status. GENERAL FIRE CODE REGULATIONS The Fort Lauderdale Fire Department mandates a strict adherence to the NFPA Safety Code. The decision of the Fire Marshal of the City of Fort Lauderdale is final. 1. Licensees, show management, exhibitors and all other parties comply with all Federal, State, Municipal and Center mandated fire codes which apply to public assembly facilities. 2. The following materials are prohibited without written consent of Center: electrical cooking equipment; open flame devices; welding, cutting or brazing equipment; ammunition; radioactive devices; pressure vessels; exhibits involving hazardous processing and materials; fireworks or pyrotechnics; blasting agents /explosives; flammable cryogenic gasses; aerosol cans with flammable propellants; gas operated cooking equipment; portable heating equipment. 3. The Center may request in writing: specifications, descriptions, etc. of any and all equipment, processes, operations, etc. from Licensee, service contractor, exhibitors, etc. and reserves the right to submit such information to the Fire Department for approval. 4. Exterior exhibit hall doors and loading dock doors are not to be propped open. Automatic closing devices are not to be tampered with. 5. A Fire watch is mandatory when smoke and/or hazardous machines are used inside the Center. STORAGE: 1. Crate storage is prohibited in the Center without the prior written approval of Center Management. Crate storage is the responsibility of the Licensee. 2. Crates stored in interior storage rooms may not be stacked higher than within three (3) feet of sprinkler heads and a ten (10) foot radius must be maintained around all access/egress doors. Crates may not be stored in any occupied hall/room. 3. Exit signage, fire extinguisher, fire alarms, pull stations and related firefighting equipment may not be hidden, obstructed or blocked. 4. All emergency exits, hallways and aisles leading from the building are to be kept clear and unobstructed. FLAME TEST: 1. All bunting, table coverings, drapes, signs, banners and like materials must be flame resistant and are subject to inspection and flame testing by Fire Marshal. Materials that cannot be treated with flame retardant shall not be used. 2. Flame retardant materials shall not ignite and spread over the surface when exposed to open flame. 3. Compressed flammable gas, flammable or combustible liquids, hazardous chemicals or materials; and Class II or greater laser, blasting agents, and explosives shall be prohibited within exhibit halls. 4. Liquid Propane is not permitted inside the facility except when used as fuel to propel a vehicle into the facility. In this case, the tanks must be removed immediately after placement. 5. Oil cloth, tarpaper, nylon, plastic cloths and certain other plastic materials cannot be made flame retardant and their use is prohibited. 6. All electrical equipment must conform to the National Electrical Code and be UL approved SMOKING POLICY: In accordance with the Florida Clean Air Act, the Center's smoking policy restricts smoking to designated smoking areas. Smoking is prohibited at all times in the exhibition hall, ballrooms, restrooms and meeting rooms. This policy includes cigarettes, cigars, ecigarettes, pipes, etc. Smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas situated 25’ from the building. 4802 W. MATERIAL HANDLING RATES & ORDER FORM MATERIAL HANDLING SERVICES: Advance Shipments – Stored up to 30 days prior to show move-in, and include delivery to the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center, delivery to your booth, storage of empty containers during show, return of containers to your booth at close of show, moving goods to the dock, and loading onto outbound carrier. All shipments received at the warehouse after 6/6/17, are subject to additional late shipment charges. Direct Shipments – Are accepted during exhibitor move-in hours ONLY. Any freight scheduled for delivery to the Center during move-in must be sent to the attention of the service contractor. Includes delivery to your booth, storage of empty container during the show, return of containers to your booth at close of show, move good to the dock, and loading onto outbound carrier.

Due to limited storage space early shipments may be refused. MATERIAL HANDLING FEES: Small Packages: A shipment of any number of pieces, with a combined weight not to exceed 50lbs total, that is received on the same day, from the same shipper, and delivered by the same carrier. Small package carriers may split shipments resulting in CSI receiving multiple shipments (on multiple days), resulting in additional material handling fees. Crated/ skidded: Materials that are skidded or is in any type of shipping container that can be loaded at the dock with no additional handling required. Special Handling: Shipments that are crated van line shipments or packed in such a manner as to require special handling, such as ground loading, side door loading, constricted space loading and designated piece loading or stacked shipments. Also included are mixed shipments without certified weight tickets or delivery receipts, such as FedEx, UPS and POV’s (personally owned vehicles). • Shipments arriving the same day, from different shippers, are considered separate shipments and will be billed separately. IMPORTANT INBOUND MATERIAL HANDLING/SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS It is the responsibility of the exhibiting company to arrange any and all shipments to the CSI etc. warehouse or the Venue. Advance Shipments - Receiving begins 30 days prior to exhibitor move-in. Shipments must arrive at the warehouse no later than 6/6/17. Shipments arriving after that date will be received; however additional charges per the attached rate sheet will be incurred. Warehouse receiving hours are Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM (closed all major holidays). Shipments arriving outside of those hours will incur additional charges per the attached rate sheet. DO NOT SHIP YOUR MATERIALS TO THE VENUE PRIOR TO THE ASSIGNED EXHIBITOR MOVE IN DATE OF:

Direct Shipments - Shipments that must be directed to show site can only arrive at during exhibitor move in hours. Early shipments may be refused. CSI etc. is not responsible, for loss or damages, for shipments that are delivered to the Venue prior to that date. Items shipped directly to show site and handled by CSI etc. personnel will be charged drayage/material handling per the rate sheet enclosed. Consolidate your shipment and save - Separate shipments received by CSI etc. will not be combined. The minimum 200lb charge applies to each shipment that CSI etc. receives. Shipments arriving at the same time from different destinations are considered separate shipments. Please be aware that FedEx and UPS may split shipments resulting in CSI etc. receiving multiple shipments. ALL SHIPMENTS MUST BE SENT PRE-PAID; NO COD’S WILL BE ACCEPTED. Outbound shipments - Outbound shipping is not an automatic process. Outbound Bills of Lading must be completed and turned in to the CSI etc. Service Desk. Do not leave outbound Bills of Lading in your booth. Exhibitors who wish to ship outbound materials via any carrier other than the official show carrier must make arrangements with their carrier to be checked in at the CSI etc. Service Desk by the driver check-in time specified on the Show Information page. Drivers are placed in line for loading on a first come, first serve basis, provided the exhibitor is completely packed and a Bill of Lading has been turned in to the Service Desk. Drivers whose Bills of Lading have not been turned in will be placed in a holding queue until the booth is packed and the Bill of Lading is turned in. Should your carrier fail to check in by the designated time or refuses to pick up your shipment, CSI etc. reserves the right to re-route shipment via the official show carrier as necessary, at the exhibitor’s expense. NOTE: Any items left on the show floor will either be brought back to the CSI etc. warehouse and additional charges will be incurred or re-routed with CSI etc.’s designated carrier. EXHIBIT MOVE-OUT NOTICE PRIOR TO CLOSE OF SHOW:

• Stop by the CSI Service Desk to pick up your Bill of Lading for outbound shipping. Note: Material Handling Charges will apply if CSI did not handle your inbound shipment. • Any and all outbound shipments regardless of carrier, and POV’s, MUST have completed a Bill of Lading returned to the Service Desk prior to leaving show site. • All balances must be paid in full. • CSI Service Desk will be manned 1 hour prior to close of the show to assist with shipping needs.

SHOW CLOSING:

• For your safety, do not dismantle your booth until the show officially closes. • If there is aisle carpet, please do not place any items in the aisle as ALL aisle carpet will be rolled up and removed immediately upon the close of the show. • EMPTY CONTAINERS WILL BE RETURNED AFTER THE SHOW CLOSES AND ALL AISLE CARPET HAS BEEN ROLLED UP (if applicable). TO EXPEDITE THIS PROCESS, PLEASE KEEP THE AISLES CLEAR AND YOUR ITEMS INSIDE YOUR BOOTH SPACE. • Exhibitors are not allowed to search in trailers, storage or other areas not designated as common areas.

SHIPPING OF MATERIALS:

When your materials return from empty storage, remove all old shipping and “empty” labels. Be certain each box is labeled with the NEW DESTINATION ADDRESS. If not provided by your Representative, shipping labels are available at the CSI Service Desk. • When done packing, leave shipments in your booth space. • If you have multiple boxes/cases, group the portions together so a stray piece will not be overlooked. • Return completed Bill of Lading to CSI Service Desk once you are packed & ready to ship. • If you are using any outside carrier, including UPS or FEDEX, you MUST call them to arrange on-site pick up. LIMITS OF LIABLITY In placing of an order for services and/or equipment by an exhibitor or any agent of the exhibitor shall be construed as an offer subject to acceptance and approval of CSI etc. in its sole discretion. Upon participation of any CSI etc. show or event, the exhibitor and its agents shall be bound by the terms and conditions set fourth in sections 1 through 14 below. Likewise, once CSI etc. has accepted and approved the exhibitor’s offer, any shipper consigning or delivering a shipment to CSI etc. or its subcontractors on behalf of the Exhibitor shall be bound by the terms and conditions set fourth in sections 1 though 14 below. 1. CSI etc. and its subcontractors shall not be liable for damage, loss or delay to uncrated freight, freight improperly packed, glass breakage or concealed damages as determined by CSI etc. 2. Relative to inbound shipments, there may be lapse of time between the delivery of shipment(s) to the booth by CSI etc. or its subcontractors and the arrival of the Exhibitor’s representative at the booth. Similarly, relative to outgoing shipment(s), it is possible that there will be a lapse of time between the completion of packing and the actual pickup of material from the booth for loading onto a carrier. It is understood that during such times the shipment(s) will be left in the booths unattended. Therefore, it is agreed that CSI etc. and its subcontractors shall not be liable for the loss of, disappearance of, or damage of any items left in the booth unattended at any time. Consequently, all bills of lading covering outgoing shipment(s) submitted to CSI etc. or its subcontractors by the Exhibitor will be checked at the time of pickup from the booth and corrected where discrepancies exist. 3. CSI etc. and its subcontractors shall not be liable for any damage incurred during the handling of materials or equipment requiring special devices to properly load, place, or reload unless 14 days advance notice has been given to CSI etc. in time to obtain the proper equipment. 4. CSI etc. and its subcontractors shall not be responsible for any loss, delay, or damage due to events beyond their reasonable control which cannot be avoided by the exercise of due care and prudence, including without limitation, strikes, labor disputes, lockouts or work stoppages of any kind, fire, theft, windstorm, water, vandalism, terrorism, acts of war, utilities, and other events of force majeure. Any and all work performed by CSI etc. or its subcontractors up to and including the occurrence of any of the above must be paid in full. 5. CSI etc. and its subcontractors shall not be liable for ordinary wear and tear in handling of materials and/or equipment. 6. CSI etc. and its subcontractors are not insures; i.e., CSI etc. does not insure the Exhibitor’s property against loss or damage, nor does it provide for full replacement value should loss or damage occur. Insurance, if any, shall be obtained by the exhibitor. Amounts payable by CSI etc. under this paragraph are based on the scope of the liability as herein set forth and are unrelated to the value of the Exhibitor’s property. Provisions of this paragraph shall apply if Exhibitor’s property is lost or damaged through performance or non performance of services by CSI etc., or from the negligence of CSI etc., its subcontractors or their respective employees. If such loss or damage occurs, the liability of CSI etc. and its subcontractors shall be limited to a sum equal to $.30 per pound per article, with a maximum liability of $50.00 per item or $1,000.00 per shipment, whichever is less. This amount shall be considered Exhibitor’s agreed-upon damages and exclusive remedy. 7. CSI etc. and its subcontractors shall not be liable to any extent whatsoever for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages which may include, but are not limited to any actual, potential or assumed loss of profits or revenues, loss of use of equipment or products, or any collateral costs that may result from any loss or damage to Exhibitor’s materials or any injury to Exhibitor’s personnel which may make it impossible or impractical for Exhibitor to exhibit its materials. 8. CSI etc. will not be bound to honor any claim or action brought against CSI etc. or its subcontractors more than 60 days after the date of incident. 9. The Exhibitor agrees, in connection with the receipt, handling, temporary storage and reloading of its freight, that CSI etc. and its subcontractors will provide these services as Exhibitor’s agent and not as bailee or shipper. If any employee of CSI etc. or its subcontractor sign a delivery receipt, bill of lading or other document, the parties agree that CSI etc. or its subcontractor will do so as the Exhibitor’s agent, and the Exhibitor accepts the responsibility there of . 10. CSI etc. and its subcontractors shall not be liable for shipments received without receipts, freight bills or specified unit. Such shipments will be delivered to booth without guarantee of piece count or condition. 11. Empty container labels will be available at the CSI etc. Service Desk. Affixing the labels is the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor or its representative. It is understood that these labels are used for EMPTY STORAGE ONLY, and CSI etc. and its subcontractors assume no responsibility or liability for loss or damage to contents while containers are in storage or for mislabeled containers. 12. In order to expedite removal of freight from the show site, CSI etc. shall have the authority to change designated carriers, if assigned carriers do not pick up on time. Where no disposition is made by the exhibitor, freight will be taken to a warehouse and forced shipped on a carrier determined by CSI etc. and the Exhibitor agrees to be responsible for payment of charges relating to such handling and shipping. CSI etc. assumes no liability as a result of rerouting or handling. 13. Dry and cold storage – Exhibitor stores products at its own risk. CSI etc. assumes no liability or responsibility for dry or cold storage. 14. The Exhibitor agrees, in the event of a dispute with CSI etc. or its subcontractors related to any loss or damage to any of the Exhibitor’s freight or equipment, that the Exhibitor will not withhold payment in any amount due to CSI etc. for freight handling services or any other services provided by CSI etc. or its subcontractor as an offset against the amount of the alleged loss or damage. Instead, the Exhibitor agrees to pay CSI etc. prior to the close of the show for all such charges and further agrees that any claim the Exhibitor may have against CSI etc. or its subcontractor shall be pursued independently by the Exhibitor as a completely separate transaction to be resolved on its own merits.

Once your shipment is packed and ready to be picked up, please return the outbound bill of lading to the CSI etc. Service Desk on the show floor. Shipments without paperwork turned in will be returned to the CSI etc. Warehouse or forced onto another carrier at Exhibitor’s expense. To facilitate the move-in and move-out of Exhibitors with small exhibit material shipments, CSI etc. is pleased to make available for hire, one (1) laborer with one (1) pushcart, for one (1) trip. Services can be made one way from the dock to your booth or your booth to the dock. Charges for these services are $50.00 each way. Cart service without a laborer is also available, (1) pushcart, for 30 minute maximum for $25.00- ID is required for duration of rental.



This service is for those who have small hand carry items all of which must fit on a 3’ x 4’ push cart, in one trip only. If you arrive with a truck, van, trailer, or truck with trailer filled with exhibit material you will not qualify for this service and will be redirected.



A cartload is anything weighing 200 lbs. or less total. There is one cartload allowed per booth.



Your vehicle must unload on the receiving dock of the exhibit hall. CSI etc. personnel will direct vehicles. The cart is not authorized to enter or go to any parking structure. There must be two (2) people with the vehicle; one person to go with your product to the booth space and one person to remove your vehicle from the unloading area to the parking area.



Freight that is too large or heavy will be charged material handling rates. No personal trucks (one (1) ton & over), no rental trucks, trailers, or bobtails will be unloaded through cartload service.

UNION GUIDELINES AND SAFTEY TIPS Booth Labor, Freight and Rigging The local Decorators Union has jurisdiction for providing labor to install and dismantle booth properties. Full time employees of the exhibiting companies, however, may set their own exhibits without assistance from this local. Any labor services that may be required beyond what your regular full time employees can provide, must be rendered by the Union, either through the general contractor or through an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor. (Proof of full time employment status may be requested by the Union Steward of any personnel working in your booth.) Exhibitors may “hand-carry” their own materials into the exhibit facility. However, they may not use dollies, flat trucks, or other mechanical equipment to assist. The general contractor will control access to the loading docks and all material moved through this area must be handled by the general contractor. (Teamsters handle freight from the warehouse to the docks, and Decorators hand the drayage from the dock to the booth space. Decorators also handle pipe and drape, carpet laying, and booth installation as mentioned above.) The Convention Center has an agreement regarding Audio Visual Equipment with the IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Motion Picture Machine Operators Union – or Stagehands). In accordance with this agreement, IATSE workers handle the move-in, performance, and move-out of the following: cable installations for local cable television and satellite hook ups, audio and video recording, audio visual projection and screen masking, rigging of theatrical apparatus from the ceiling grid, and entertainment events – staging, sound, and lighting operations. All AV contractors may provide supervision only. Hanging Signs Most of the time we (the EAC’s) can assemble and dismantle the hanging signs and the GC only raises and hangs it and brings it down to the floor on the dismantle. This does vary show to show but that is usually the case Exhibitors or Exhibit Houses may supervise this work only. Electrical Electricians are responsible for the installation and activation of all electrical requirements. Exhibitors may provide their own power cords, but they must be of the 3 wire grounded variety. Exhibitors may prep, assemble and service their own special equipment requiring engineers or technicians, but the “house electricians” must service all connections and provide overload protection to the equipment. AV contractors can usually bring in their own equipment and can install and service. They do have to go through the union dock to unload and deliver to booth if it is more than they can hand carry. This does vary show to show but that is usually the case. Hours Straight time rates are from Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Overtime rates are incurred outside of those hours on Monday through Friday as well as all day on Saturday. Sundays and holidays are double time. Lunch is from 12:00 – 12:30 pm. 4802 W. All hanging signs must comply with Show Management rules and regulations and the venue’s limitations. All signs must have approved rigging points, with the exception of cloth banners under 100 lbs. CSI etc. reserves the right to refuse to hang a sign if, in their opinion, it appears unsafe. Include an engineer-stamped assembly and hanging instructions with the order. CSI etc. accepts no liability for any work completed without such instructions, when required. Work is done at the Exhibitor’s risk and the Exhibitor shall indemnify and defend CSI etc. and the Show Organizer from any claims arising out of or related to the installation and dismantle of any sign without approved drawings. CSI Creative Services Large scale event printing can be foreign territory for those who are used to working with publication sized media. Our desire is to provide you with the best quality graphic design and production for your event or exhibit. You can help us in that effort by submitting digital art files using the following artwork guidelines. If you are sending us completed, Print Ready files, please pass this information on to your Graphic Designer for reference. If you are working with a CSI Creative Services Designer to create a new show look or to design an exhibit, please include any information that might be relevant to translating your brand and incorporating it into your event or exhibit.

Acceptable File Formats We accept native files from the folowing programs: - Adobe Products: Illustrator (.ai), InDesign (.indd), Photoshop (.psd) Other file types we can work with: - Acrobat (.pdf), Encapsulated Post Script (.eps), Tagged Image File Format (.tiff), Joint Photographic Expert Group (.jpeg or .jpg)

Creative Ser vices Artwork Setup • Keep in mind that here at CSI we work on PCs; all MAC files will need to be converted in order for us to open them. Only use letters, numbers, hyphens and spaces in your file names, and avoid using any special glyphs or characters. • All graphic files should be set up using CMYK color profiles. If your files are set up in RGB and we convert them here, there may be a substantial difference in your color choices. • Graphic dimensions that exceed 200” in width or height should be set up at 50%. If the files you are submitting are not set up at full scale, please make a note of the scaled percentage in your file names. • It is highly recommended that you provide a preview PDF of your unit, panels or graphics as you intend them to be printed. This helps us to visually detect common errors such as missing fonts, missing links or images, and other issues that may vary from computer to computer.

Design Time & Capability Files need to be converted to CMYK with a minimum DPI of 300. Increase DPI accordingly for scaled document sizes.

Logos Logos are an important aspect of event branding and sponsorship programs. Please make sure that you provide us with vector versions of your logo and your sponsors logos if you plan on utilizing them graphically.

Fonts In print ready artwork, please convert all fonts to outlines. If there’s a chance your graphics may need to be altered before printing please do not outline your fonts. Instead, provide files for any fonts used in your documents. If we are designing your graphics for you, please include files for any fonts you would like to be used.

Links Please properly package any artwork that is externally linked inside your native files. Missing links can cause your files to launch with errors, and we will not be able to print your artwork correctly without them.

TERMS & CONDITIONS 1.

Order with payment & floor plan (for island booths or any booth requiring distribution of electrical services) must be received no later than the deadline date on the front of this form for advance payment rates to apply. Orders faxed or mailed without payment and required floor plan will not be guaranteed advance rates. Orders received after the deadline date will be charged at the regular rate. A purchase order or photocopy of a check are not considered valid forms of payment for securing advanced rate.

2.

In the event order totals are calculated incorrectly, Edlen reserves the right to make the necessary corrections and charge the corrected amount. Exhibitors will be notified by email or fax of any such corrections.

3.

Outlet rates listed include bringing the services to one location in island booths and to one location at the rear of in-line and peninsula booths.

4.

Outlet rates listed do not include the connection of any equipment, special wiring, or distribution of the outlets to other location’s within the booth space. Distribution to all other locations regardless of booth type require labor and is performed on a time and material basis. Exhibitors are invited to contact the local Edlen office to discuss any additional costs that may be incurred.

5.

A separate outlet must be ordered for each location where an electrical service is required. 5 amps or 500 watts is the minimum amount of power that can be ordered for any one location. Power must be ordered according to peak amperage ratings.

6.

Island booths - If a floor plan showing main power location is not submitted to Edlen prior to our first move-in date, Edlen will deliver the power to the most convenient location.

7.

Labor rates are based on current wage scales and are subject to change in the event of a wage increase after rates have been published. A minimum charge of (1) hour labor will apply for all installation work. The removal of this work will be charged a minimum of 1/2 hour or 1/2 the total time of installation.

8.

In the event 1000 watt overhead quartz lights cannot be mounted to existing catwalks in the convention hall, lift and labor charges will apply. Please contact our local office to discuss any additional charges.

9.

Edlen employees are authorized to cut floor coverings when essential for installation of services unless otherwise directed.

10.

Edlen is the exclusive provider of all material and equipment used in the distribution of temporary electrical services throughout the exhibit hall including the exhibitors booth space. This material is provided on a rental basis ONLY and remains the property of Edlen. It shall be removed only by Edlen employees.

11.

Any extension cords or power strips ordered on the front of this form should be picked up at the service desk. Credit will not be not issued for unused items.

12.

Standard wall and other permanent building utility outlets or sockets are not part of a booth space and may not be used by exhibitors unless electrical services have been ordered through Edlen.

13.

All equipment regardless of source of power, must comply with federal, state and local codes. Edlen reserves the right to inspect all electrical devices and connections to ensure compliance with all codes, for which labor charges can be incurred. Edlen is required to refuse connections where the Exhibitor wiring or equipment is not in accordance with electrical codes.

14.

All electrical equipment must be properly tagged and wired with complete information as to the type of current, voltage, phase, cycle, horsepower, etc., required for operation.

15.

All Exhibitors’ cords must be a minimum of 14 gauge, 3 wire and grounded. Two (2) wire extension cords are not allowed. All exposed, noncurrent carrying metal parts of fixed equipment which are liable to be energized, shall be grounded.

16.

Payment in full must be rendered during the event. Exhibitors ARE NOT billed for services provided. Services may be interrupted if payment is not received.

17.

Credit will not be given for services installed and not used. All orders are subject to a 25% cancellation fee if cancelled in writing & received by Edlen within 14 calendar days prior to show opening. Except sales tax, Edlen will not refund overpayment in amounts less than $50.00 unless specifically requested in writing.

18.

Claims will not be considered or adjustments made unless filed in writing by Exhibitor prior to the close of the event.

19.

Exhibitor holds Edlen harmless for any and all losses of power beyond Edlen’s control, including, but not limited to, losses due to utility company failure, permanent power distribution failure, power failure caused by vandalism, faulty Exhibitor equipment or overloads caused by Exhibitor.

20.

It is agreed that in the event it becomes necessary to turn this matter over to an attorney for collection, or to file a lien, or foreclosure, or otherwise, Exhibitor will pay Edlen its attorney fees or applicable agency fees.

21.

A service charge of 1.5% per month on any unpaid balances will be assessed starting 10 days after date of invoice. A $25.00 service charge will be assessed for all returned checks and credit cards. Exhibitor agrees to reimburse Edlen for all applicable rental taxes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Lease of Equipment. CCLD agrees to lease and provide to Customer, and Customer agrees to lease and obtain from CCLD, the equipment and service described herein or on attached supplement(s), for the rental payment set forth herein, or on such attached supplement (plus all sales, use, and all other taxes due to federal, state, or local taxing authorities, if any, on the lease of equipment and provision of service here under). Payment For Which Must Accompany Service Orders. Term. The equipment and services will be provided during the dates of the relevant show set forth on the CCLD Service Order Form, subject to the other provisions of this agreement. Prices are subject to change without notice. Use of PBX Switch and Related Services. Customer’s rental of the equipment shall include the usage of (but not physical access to) the common telecommunication equipment (collectively, the “Switch”) serving the Customer at the convention facility identified on the CCLD Service Order Form (the “Building”). Local Exchange Telephone Services. Local exchange telephone services will be provided by the local telephone company’s exchange services and facilities. Long Distance. Long distance (interchange) services are provided by CCLD under license agreements with center management (1+ dialing) or arrangements directly between Customer and such other parties (0+ dialing). CCLD or other such parties may process billing for such service. Billing or other questions relating to long distance services should be directed initially to CCLD at the number shown on the CCLD Service Order Form. A $0.75 surcharge per call will be charged on all Directory Assistance, Toll Free Numbers and Credit Card Calls. Request for Service; Payment. (a) Request for special arrangements must be received by CCLD no less than thirty (30) days prior to initial move in date. Custom/ Fiber orders must be received at least 60 days prior to move in date. (b) Personal checks will be accepted with Advance Rate requests only. (c) There will be $50.00 service charge for all returned checks. Equipment Management. CCLD will collect telephone sets, hubs and other equipment after the event. Please leave equipment at the location it was installed or please call our office when you are ready to return it. Cancellations. The equipment and services are being provided by CCLD under a license agreement with the building owner or manager. CCLD may cancel this Agreement and its obligations by notice to customer in the event such license agreement expires or is terminated, in which event CCLD’s only obligation shall be to refund any advanced payments made by Customer. Customer’s Duties. (a) Customer will use the equipment in a careful and proper manner. Customer shall not make any alterations, attachments, or additions to the equipment without CCLD’s written consent. Only CCLD employees or approved personnel are authorized to modify system wiring. (b) Customer shall be liable for any loss or damage to the equipment arising from Customer’s negligence, intentional act, unauthorized maintenance other cause within the reasonable control of Customer, its representatives, employees, agents, or invitees. In the event of any loss or damage to the equipment for which Customer is liable, Customer shall reimburse CCLD for the reasonable cost of the repair or replacement. You will be charged upon non-return of the equipment. Standard Telephone Sets, $75.00 each; Multi-line Sets, $300.00 each; Speaker Phone Sets, $75.00 each; Fax Machines, $500.00 each; Polycom Sets, $300.00 each; Hubs, $300.00 each. Any additional equipment rented by CCLD will have an agreed upon non-return charge amount at time of rental. (c) The equipment shall remain the sole and exclusive property of CCLD or its assignee, and nothing contained herein shall give or convey to Customer any right, title or interest whatever in the equipment which shall, at all times, be and remain personal property notwithstanding that it may be or become attached to or embedded in the realty. Events of Customer Default. Customer shall be in default hereunder if Customer fails to pay when due any rental payment or service charge or any other indebtedness to CCLD, or Customer fails to return equipment to CCLD when required to do so hereunder fails to perform or observe any other obligation or covenant to be performed or observed by Customer hereunder. No credit will be given for equipment or service cancelled after installation date. Installation date is same as Show Move in date. A $55.00 process charge per service will be applied to any orders cancelled prior to move in date. Remedies of CCLD. At any time after a default by the Customer, CCLD may terminate this Agreement, by notice to Customer, and repossess the equipment, whereupon customers’ right to use the equipment shall cease but Customer shall remain liable for all unpaid charges, and CCLD may apply and retain all or such portion of customers deposit as may be necessary to compensate CCLD for any unpaid charges or damages and expenses incurred on account of such default, or CCLD may exercise any other rights accruing to a lessor under any applicable law upon a default by a lessee. Limitation of Liability. (a) CCLD’s obligations under this Agreement are subject to, and CCLD shall not be liable for delays, failure to perform or damage or destruction or malfunction of the equipment or services or any consequence of any of the above, caused, occasioned or due to fire, flood, water, the elements, labor disputes or shortages, utility curtailments, power failure, explosions, civil disturbances, government regulatory requirements, acts of God or public enemy, war, military or government requisition, shortages of equipment or supplies, unavailability of transportation, acts or omissions of anyone other than CCLD, its representatives, agents or employees, or any other cause beyond CCLD’s reasonable control. (b) In all situations involving performance or non-performance of equipment or related programs of services furnished under this Agreement, the Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy and CCLD’s sole and exclusive liability will be (i) the adjustment or repair of the equipment or replacement of the its parts by CCLD or at CCLD’s option, replacement of the equipment, or correction of programming errors or (ii) if, after reasonable and repeated efforts, CCLD is unable to install the equipment or replacement equipment in good working order, or to restore the same to good working order, or to make programming operate, the Customer shall be entitled to terminate this Agreement and receive a refund equal to the excess (if any) of (1) the total amount theretofore paid by Customer to CCLD for equipment and services under this Agreement, or (2) the reasonable value of Customer’s use of the equipment and services. (c) In no event shall CCLD be liable to the Customer or to any other party for special collateral, exemplary, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, whether such damages occur either prior or subsequent to, or are alleged as a result of, fortuitous conduct, failure of the equipment or services of CCLD or breach of any of the provisions of this Agreement, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract or in tort, including strict liability and negligence, even if CCLD has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any damages caused by the Customer’s failure to perform the Customer’s responsibilities. Such excluded damages include, but are not limited to, loss of profits, loss of use or interruption of business, or other consequential of indirect economic loss. (d) Customer acknowledges and agrees that neither the owner of the building nor the prime licensee of other party responsible for the event in which the Customer is participating is responsible for the provision of the equipment or the services, and that neither such party shall be liable to Consumer for any failure or defect in such equipment or services. (e) Claims will not be considered unless filed in writing with CCLD by Customer prior to the close of the event identified on the order form submitted. Indemnification. Customer hereby assumes liability for and agrees to indemnify, protect and hold wholly harmless CCLD and its agents, employees, officers, directors, and any and all successors and assigns, from and against any and all liabilities, obligations, losses, damages, injuries, claims, demands, penalties, actions, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, in contract, in tort or otherwise, which result from and arise out of the negligent or wrongful use of the equipment or the services, or from the acts or omissions of the Customer or its representatives, agents, employees, or invitees. Assignment. CCLD shall have the right to assign its interest under the Agreement to any other party subsequently providing equipment and services to the building. Entire Agreement; Amendment. This Agreement and any attached supplement(s) constitute the entire agreement between the parties hereto and supercedes all prior oral or written discussions or agreements. This Agreement may be amended only by a written agreement executed between both parties. Governing Law. This Agreement shall be construed under the laws of the state in which the building is located. Cellular Air Time (Usage). Cellular services are billed by license agreements with CCLD. Billing for such services will be billed separately by CCLD. Wireless Applications. Users of wireless hardware (e.g. 802.11) and/or applications must contact CCLD to coordinate frequency usage. Exclusivity. CCLD is the exclusive voice/data communications provider for the BCCC. As such all outside proxy servers, routers, or any machine used to propagate a single I.P. address to multiply devices are forbidden. Each device, which has the ability to see the internet, must have an I.P. address purchased for that device.

The above Wi-Fi Exhibitor Booth Services are available on the exhibit floor. For mission critical applications, we recommend using a wired internet connection as Wi-Fi is vulnerable to interference due to many different factors outside of our control. A separate paid network named BCCCWIFI is available exclusively in the lobbies and meeting rooms (excludes exhibit floors) offering a daily rate of $15 for a 1Mbps connection.

Savor SMG is the exclusive provider of all food and beverage for the Broward County Convention Center and our liability insurance only allows for original manufacturer/producers to distribute food items (including bottled water). Your Catering Event Manager is happy to work with you to assist with any special requests. If you are the manufacturing/producing company and wish to sample your product, please fill out the following form and email/fax to Melissa Ayre, Senior Catering Sales Manager at [email protected] or 954.763.9551. Please wait for approval from the Catering Department. For additional information, menus, or to place an order, please call the Catering Sales Department at 954.765.5947. REGULATIONS: 1.
