Important Yearbook Information/Deadlines for Seniors (2016 - 2017) Dear Students/Parents: For most students, having their pictures in the yearbook is an important part of their high school experience. Your attendance and timely submission of pictures and information are the most crucial factors in creating a quality yearbook. It is your responsibility to adhere to all deadlines. Any photos, ads, or quotes that are not submitted on time are not guaranteed to be in the yearbook. Yearbooks will be sold online through www.balfour.com. Enter “Comsewogue” as the school name and click the “Yearbook” icon. The yearbook will be printed fully in color. You can pre-order your yearbook until November 15, 2016 at a discounted rate. After that date, yearbooks can still be purchased online at an additional cost until April 30, 2017. There will be no yearbook sales between May 1st thru the date the books are delivered to the school in June. At the time of delivery, any additional yearbooks will be sold on a first come, first served basis for $125.00.

All yearbooks should be purchased through the online site. This method allows purchasers to use a credit/debit card to make their purchase.

Whether you make your payment online or through Mrs. Miller at the high school, you always have the option to design your own tribute/ad space. Yearbook Photo Schedule:

Senior Portrait Make-up Days: September 14th and 15th from 7:30am-1:30pm (Last Chance!) Field Photo: September 23rd @ 11am on the football field (wear blue and gold) Sibling Photos: September 27th, 28th, and 29th during and after X-time in the Rotunda Then and Now Photos: October 18th, 19th, and 20th during and after X-time in the Rotunda Baby Photos: November 1st - Due in Main Office or Emailed to [email protected] Superlative Photos: November 15th, 16th, and 17th during and after X-time in the Rotunda Club Photos: October 15th – December 15th (See advisor for specific time & date) Senior Portraits: Sessions were offered 3 different times at the school (May, Summer, September). If you have not already taken a photo, you can contact Prestige Portraits (Lifetouch) and make an appointment to have your photo taken at their studio BEFORE October 15th if you wish to have your portrait included in the 2017 yearbook. Photos for relatives other than immediate family members will not be submitted to the yearbook due to space constraints. Then & Now Photos:Taken October 18th, 19th, and 20th during + after X-time in the Rotunda Your photo must be a group photo (2 or more people). You must bring the original picture with you! You are responsible for any props you would like to use in your photo. Baby Photos: DUE before November 1st in the H.S. Main Office You can begin submitting them in the appropriate box in the main office at any time, but they are due by November 1st. You may be the only person in your chosen picture. Please be sure that there are no other people in the photo! Please make sure that the photo you choose is in good condition for scanning. Do not forget to write your name and contact information on the back. Photos that are not handed in on time are not guaranteed to be in the yearbook. Image Share – SHARE YOUR PICTURES FOR THE YEARBOOK! You now have the option to upload pictures from your smart phone to be included in the yearbook. For example, if you take a picture at Homecoming that you want to be featured in the yearbook, simply use the Balfour Image Share App. Please use the Class of 2017 Project number – 726019 – when uploading the App. Further instructions are attached.
