2016/2017 Senior Release Privileges Permission Form for Late Arrival/Early Release

Please review the guidelines below for Senior Release Privileges. If these rules are not met, the School and/or Parents hold the right to revoke this privilege at any time. 1. This form must be signed by a parent or guardian and returned to the Main Office BEFORE a student can begin late arrival or early release from a Period 1 and/or Period 4 learning lab. 2. All seniors participating in late arrival must arrive no sooner than 10-15 minutes before the 2nd period bell and report on time to their second period class where their attendance will be taken. Any seniors that arrive after the second period starts will be considered tardy to school and must check in at the Main Office upon arrival. 3. All seniors participating in early release must leave the building and the school grounds at the end of their last class. Seniors may return at 2:10 to attend after school activities, make-up sessions, or detention. If any senior remains in the building while on early release status will be assigned to a learning lab for the remainder of the semester. 4. In the event of a special circumstance or emergency, any senior wishing to remain at school, in lieu of senior privilege, must first receive permission from an administrator. Should conditional permission be granted to remain at school, seniors need to report directly to their assigned area. 5. Students exercising their senior privilege must maintain good conduct, attendance, and academic eligibility in order to continue to qualify for late arrival or early dismissal.
