As a result of this long standing relationship, Hanson has engaged with Perennials and Sutherland in many different projects over time, providing technical, visual, and strategic solutions to meet the interior designer’s needs across the selection, customization, and sales journey.

Rugs colorizer Social integration Perennials fabrics are used in a lot of custom designs by designers who proudly photograph their beautiful work and share online. Perennials therefore turned to Hanson for a product photo solution, and Hanson built a social integration feature on Perennialsfabrics.com that features user generated content from social media by promoting simple use of a hashtag across social spaces. An integrated rights management software helps Perennials manage user permissions.

To enhance the customization and visualization process for Perennials Fabrics, Hanson designed and developed a rugs colorizer. The dynamic colorizer allows users to select a pattern, apply a color combination, and download a tearsheet for a quote. This tool promotes better awareness of the brand’s customization options, helps showroom representatives better sell rugs on the spot, and drives increased online quote requests.

Website design & ongoing marketing To continuously deliver beautiful online experiences that meet designers’ changing needs, Hanson regularly updates both the Sutherland and Perennials websites. Hanson also provides ongoing marketing support, including digital and social media advertising, to further drive customers down the purchase funnel. Paid search and social ads drove a combined increase of 145% in total website conversions from 2016 to 2017, and 29% of all conversions on the Perennials website in 2017 were performed by users coming in from a paid search campaign.
